So I started planning for a trip to New England next summer. I plan on hitting SFNE, Lake Compounce and Quassy. My question is since Lake Compounce and Quassy are small parks and pretty close together is it possible to get both parks in one day? Is there anything else within an hour or so worth seeing?
I would recommend skipping Quassy as all they really have is a junior Gravity Group and some generic flats. You really should spend a whole day at Lake Compounce as you can have more time with Boulder Dash.

That's like finding a Waffle House with no white trash in it.
Do Quassy on a "travel" day if that's a thing. It's a stop-n-go park. Lake Compounce I did from like 6 - 10 pm and got like 6 or 7 rides on Boulderdash so it's your call. I don't personally enjoy spending full days at parks anyway, unless it's enormous like Cedar Point.
well according to google SFNE the furthest park is only a 3 and a half hour drive so I could see going to Quassy on the way up for a quick stop, I really only want to ride wooden warrior anyway.
Definitely do Quassy and Lake Compounce in one day. Just make it quick and ride Wooden Warrior twice (in the back both times; don't waste your time in the front) and head straight to Lake Compounce. I've done it twice and didn't have a problem either time.
I did Quassy in a half hour. 3 rides on the coaster and left. The coaster is AWESOME but unless you want to pay $23 for a wristband it's not worth spending a lot of time on. LC is a way more complete park with more to do and Boulder Dash is the best coaster ever built sooooooo
