Wow this is really shaping up and looking great! Two things I would point out about your B&M strata, one opinion, and one deduction:

Opinion: while this is purely speculation, and not backed by any B&M giga, I would be shocked to see a B&M strata that does not have an evac car on one side and traditional stairs on the other. If an evac happened near the lift crown, 400ft is a pretty insane and unsafe distance for the GP to be walking down a one way staircase. I'm shocked actually that the giga's don't have an evac car, as 300 ft is also insane. I love heights, and really cherished the days I got to walk the lift to the crown when I was a ride op, and even though I've only stood at the crown of a hyper and loved heights, even I find looking down the one way 18-20 story stair case daunting, and your coaster is double that!

Concern: I'm worried that the V shape B&M cars might be too heavy and bulky to make a realistic strata, but I don't have any stats to back it up, and I'm sure it's possible you don't mind even if they do; just throwing in my two cents! It looks badass though, and I could easily be wrong as I'm just guessing. I just know that train weight is a huge concern when they consider lift angle/height, and even with the foresight on Griffon going floorless when they wanted the 10 wide trains to reduce weight, they still snapped the lift chain in the second year it was open :/

I've taken the staircase issue into consideration, and I think I know a way to incorporate an elevator system like TTD into the supports and still make it look nice!

As for the weight issue? Talk to Blase

I have taken your concerns into consideration and I will talk to the other teammates on it as well :) thank you for bringing it up!

Update: November 2nd, 2014

This is a very small update.

We have planned more flats for the park and have decided where each will go. Tommy, our 3d modeler is having computer issues as of right now. However he is planned to have a new computer November 11th.

After talking to the team we have also decided upon another coaster. Yes that's right another coaster! While the full theme for the coaster won't be released just yet we will leave you all with the fact that it will be very similar to Rock N Roller Coaster.

I know leave you with this. "Be prepared to take the ride of your life!" Make sure you stay tuned on Wednesday for our next update which will include more pictures, rides, and plans.

Thank you :)

Awesome! Like I said, take it with a grain of salt since I don't have facts sheets, I'm just a realism junky! Also, will your flats from this park pack be free to use in our parks after release, or would you prefer to keep them for the general theming?

haha I had to take that into consideration when designing it. It is 120% safe to ride. Everything is in check and the track passes all clearance issues.

Hey guys! I'll be doing tonight's update since everyone else is busy.

We have 2 new coasters to introduce, along with a third teaser for the most intense ride in the park! (designed by yours truly)

First off, meet Apex! An Intamin Blitz reaching a height of 159 feet, maxing out at 65 mph with 2 inversions, 1 stall, and a 97 degree drop!

Next in the lineup, a kiddie coaster! A rather big kid one at that, reaching a height of almost 100 feet and a top speed of 41 mph!

We're also working to finalize the colors on several rides, including our latest B&M record breaker, Altitude!

I'm liking how this is coming a long. Personally I prefer the blue spine, but with out the orange stripe, on Altitude.

I'm going to hazard a guess the the new coaster will either be the fastest or have the fastest acceleration.

Okay so I know today is not a normal update day but I felt like I should share more pictures of Altitude:440 with all of you. Some people brought up that there could possibly a weight issue with the trains. After talking to the team and discussed weight, speed, and height issues and looking at several real examples such as Fury 325, we have decided it will be okay and will run smoothly with enough safety precautions. With that being said when we begin to support this beast, we will include a service elevator in case the coaster becomes stuck (Yes we know this is just a virtual park but we want to make it as realistic as possible) Along with the weight of the train issue, all of the G-Forces are perfectly fine with the coaster type and pacing for the coaster is perfect. With that being said please enjoy these pictures of our tallest coaster in the park, Altitude:440.

In one of the pictures below I am planning on making a storage for the coaster. Also the coaster's colors are now Final.

Stats:

Type- B&M Hyper
Height- 440 feet
Speed- Top speed of 112 mph!
Inversions- 1
Number of trains- 3
Cars per train- 8
Total number of riders per train- 32
Height Requirement- 54 inches

i think were going to have to bring the station back a little to add the storage/transfer before the lift

I would add switch track to the storage instead of a transfer table. So I would take the turn and add a switch track on the turn going into the storage.

Can't you make the straight section before the station into transfer track?

More like 18 Flags, because we're 3x better than any Six Flags

The problem is that the section before the station is shorter than the trains.

Thank you all for your nice comments! We appreciate it! As the park has begun taking shape we are planning a beta release of most of the coasters in the park for Premium Users only. We will talk more about this later.

Now on to the park. WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are now deciding themes for the coasters to add realism to the park. We are planning to keep each coaster theme on a smaller scale so that we can continue this park with as little lag as possible. Here is our problem, The team has decided on 2 theme ideas for a coaster in the Area 51 area of the park. The coaster is a dive coaster with the name AtmosFear (I brought this up briefly in a older update). With that being said we need your help to decide upon the theme! After many theme ideas we narrowed it down to 2. Please comment idea 1 or 2 below or if you have an idea of your own. The idea with the most number of votes will be the theme for AtmosFear.

Theme idea 1: Atmos Industries welcomes you, a maintenance team, into one of the buildings elevator shafts. Your team begin a slow climb to the top of the old run down elevator. The special car begins to slow down and hang you over the edge so that you and your team can fix a broken cable across the shaft. As the car inches closer the cable holding your car breaks and sends you flying straight to the bottom of the elevator shaft. (Nice and simple however it doesn't fit the name quite well)

Theme idea 2: Atmos Industries are pumping a type of gas into theses trains to create the riders worst fear. You unwillingly volunteer to test the substance out unknowing what it will cause. You board the vehicle and the gas begins filling the station room. The coaster then moved on up the lift hangs you over the edge, and "breaks down" creating fear. The coaster then goes outside and through all the other elements ending with a splash down to "rinse" the train of the has for the next pair of victims err I mean riders. (This theme will have more 3d objects which can cause unwanted lag in the park. However it is also more thought out and the name fits the coaster)

We are planning to keep this coaster's layout as secret as possible. It will however be released in the Premium Member Beta Release. Please let us know your opinions and choose either idea 1 or idea 2. Thank you so much!
