By that logic, over the shoulder restraints are necessary for non-inverting rides with moderate to extreme airtime.

I305 needed OTSRs. In my recent trip report I explain how the extreme forces would be easily too much for legs. They really rely on keeping your shoulders down on that ride for not only the negatives but also for the extreme laterals on the twists.

"yes it goes upside down backwards. duh. what are you 7?"

Actual words out of someone's mouth i heard whilst standing in line for Expedition Everest.

"I touched the yeti with my bare hands."

Actual words spoken out a little girls mouth outside the exit of Expedition Everest.

Someone tried telling me that Gringotts had atleast a 150 ft drop in the intro with atleast a 70 degree tilt drop.. I ridden it and it was literally 30 ft. (This was while I was waiting in queue for 2 hours). P.S. Dont get me wrong Gringotts could easily be the best dark ride in existence.

Yeah I figured that would be the case - It's like how B&M restraints just aren't designed for those kind of laterals and turns but they're absolutely perfect for the straight up airtime!

Clearance problems on some carnival or flat rides. When you're on a chair swing, I think there's a possibility you could hit leaves... ;)

I've never heard of a 512 ft roller coaster called the Hornet's Nest, and they got Great Adventure and Great America mixed up.

One time at Valleyfair, someone said that Wild Thing and Renegade are exactly the same. Really? A Morgan hypercoaster and a GCI woodie are the same ride? :|

I was just reading some Facebook comments about Goliath at Six Flags Great America, and these are just a few of the dumbest things I have ever read...

-"Good policy, I was decapitated on the Z-force the first day it was operating, wish I would have been as cautious as you"
-"No thanks too many death's from faulty rides at that theme park."
-"Riders for the sake of your loved ones please take out a great life insurance policy on your self.. so your loved ones are not stuck with the high cost of funerals..."
-"Death Trap in the making!!!! Look at what happened on the super man ride. With Chicago winters cheap wood splinters! Why wood wayy cheaper to build. It will take several deaths law suits to shut it down. Cost is cheap to build wood one. money making death trap for uneducated humans"
-"A all wooded ride, that is at the altitude of moister, ok, it will not last til the next day if it rains, plus it sounds like a death wish or a suicide mission"
-"there is no way in the world I'd be stupid enough to ride a wooden roller coaster that flips upside down... Give me a 1000 ft steel coaster.. All day every day.... Wood? No thanks"
-"I just told my best friend mark the day I said it it's ganna all types of wrongs ... These people always trying to go bigger and better IN REALITY YOU GO STUPID AND DEADLY !!! Final destination ABSOLUTELY !!!"

Here's a question - how quickly (given unlimited resource) do you think you could build a giga coaster?

Realistically concrete takes 7 days to cure - then with cranes working on different parts of the ride at the same time you could get the track up and in place pretty fast - then it's down to testing to finish the job..

So theoretically, with unlimited cranes and stuff working 24 hr a day. You could get all the track in 2 weeks? Test it for a month, and then open. So build a giga coaster in 2 months?
