Didn't GCI already make a wooden shuttle coaster? I know they have the sim on YT but I swear they actually built one somewhere.

:o That was the worst noob NL coaster ever. I hope I don't die that much on the real one, holy heck

GCI's was a concept and was sadly never carried out. GG will have the first wooden shuttle.

Still I hate that they are ruining the wooden coaster. Yes RMC is making it evolve, but I want to see some more of the classic Boulder Dash/Voyage style coasters being built. I feel as if the classic wooden coaster is dying out and will slowly fade into extinction.

i really think I remember seeing a live real video of one... I can't find it if I did but I really think they built one somewhere, even if just as a prototype. And really this is closer to original wooden coasters than what we see today. They used to have human powered elevator lifts to the top, then coasted down to another lift tower to coast back the start.

The spike looks horrendous. Scratch that, the whole ride is ugly.

I totally agree. I expect more from TGG.

Its an awesome idea.... Theres just something off about it though. It might just be the really bad NL1 rendering, which is weird because all the NL1 renderings for the original TGG coasters(Hades - RF2) are beautifully done and they had a golden oppertunity to show how the switch will work with NL2 now available(especially for them) and they just didn't take it
What are these for?

This thing is love nuts. The thing the video doesn't show is how insanely tight this thing is going to....it's literally in the middle of town.

This is roughly the path.

Red is the coaster, blue is a waterslide complex that wasn't in the google maps image.

That does change things a bit, since I am not familiar with the geaography. my complaint is more about the presentation that TGG is capable of and what they did instead

I'd guess they had a tight budget, and we can see they didn't have much room. I'd say they did a great job for what they had to work with. I see no problems with the layout, except the execution of the spike is just too weird for me. In my head it would look better with a 1/5 heartline roll then straight spike, kinda like V2 but steeper and without completing the roll. I think the flat section at the base of the first drop will feel way faster than it really is, and I'm in support of this kind of break in normal coaster pacing. I think it works great on Apollo's Chariot, Raptor, and Deja Vu in particular.

I also like the whole idea and presentation a ton other than the quality of the No Limits rendering. To me the general idea and execution are both very clever.

Oh, and that lead car is seriously awesome. High five to everyone involved in that idea/design.

Going into an inversion is not everything! An exaggerated overbanked hilly turn like Outlaw Run should be expected! :)

Nah the overbank is already finished.

I love how brand new wood looks all twisted like that. You don't see too many of these kinds of pics because of the damage the trains do to the track, but under construction wooden coasters are beautiful

Does anyone know if the weird twist on the spike shown in the NL video is real or not?
