They look really nice, there's a lot of details on the train, feels fitting for a classic like colossus!

I think that's a contender for a "tackiest train ever" contest.

I feel like Six Flags is late to the SteamPunk fad just as they were late to the YOLO fad.

So is Cedar Fair (Iron Reef) . Amusement parks are always late to these types of parties. I like Steampunk though, so they better do it right!

Compare to WC's trains.

According to SFNE online, Six Flags is not simply recycling Medusa's head. The head represents a godlike figure who brings in storms.

That Wicked Cyclone train looks awesome, as does the TC train. I find RMC trains to be works of art...until you sit in them anyway. The shin guards almost ruin the entire experience. I love RMCs, the functionality of their trains, not so much.

Have you even ridden Outlaw Run? The shin guards didn't hinder the ride experience at all. I have heard for taller people that they are a bit painful though.

Full throttle has those types of guards, I didn't feel it ruined the experience, but they did hurt.

Perhaps height has something to do with it. I'm 6'4 and had a relatively hard time with Outlaw Run, and a really hard time with Goliath.

Didn't stop either ride from being awesome (Goliath was way too short though), but it was still uncomfortable.

Update!
I just went to Magic Mountain and I took a bunch of new pics of Twisted Colossus!
Sorry some of them ain't great... Not my home park so I didn't know any super secret locations to take pics :P

From what I see, trackwork is continuing on the lift hill and brake run, but not really anywhere else!

Enjoy!

How fast are they working? Well these pics I took on Veterans Day. Good comparison to TTD03 pics. They show how fast RMC moves.

They aren't moving as fast on this as WC because here in New England snow is always a factor, but in Cali it's summer all year round so they have all winter whereas here, they have probably up until Christmas before the snow starts to fall.

peoples houses are caving in from over 7ft (2.5m) of snow just 40 minutes north of where I live. Snow drifts are reaching up to people's second story windows. Here it already hit 7F degrees (-14C... ish)

What I meant was a substantial amount. It has already snowed here, but it has all melted now. Usually around Christmas we get a big storm with 2-3 feet of snow.

Am I the going to be the only one that says that prelift looks annoying? I know it's more interesting than the original track and that it's RMC going nuts again but I have some doubts with that section.

It's 35 degrees here...and that's warm. 50 degrees is like spring weather for us.
