Yup, it is a pretty ridiculous price. I think the main reason it's so high is because it's a year-round park, but still, you can get a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass for less than an NU annual pass, and Platinum passes have so much more value.

Purchased my Holiday World Season Pass. $120.

Annual Pass at Alton Towers is ?????120 which at current conversion rate is $188.21

Merlin Annual Pass (Alton, Chessie, Thorpe Park and some other non theme park attractions) is ?????160 and that is pretty much just for entry and some discounted stuff which comes in at $250.94.

OffSeason Blues? Oh, you mean the time to go on holiday to areas where the parks are still open.
California, Texas, Florida, Dubai, Spain, Japan. All great destinations to go to during wintertime. For all the other moments I'd still have the few parks in the area that are open during a short period in the winter: Phantasialand, Efteling, Slagharen, Toverland, Europa Park. So yeah, I won't miss any thrills during offseason.

And for my fellow enthusiasts who can't afford to be extravagant like that, we just gotta wait winter out (especially those up north)

Only thing I got to do was go to CA ! Was extremely fun!

My Busch and Universal passes were $350+ & $400+ respectively. Worth it though

as long as we're shouting out season pass prices, I found out last weekend that Hershey's pass is only $15 more than dorney's but instead of just regular season access, you get access from Jan to Dec, so you can experience all the stuff Hershey does throughout the year for a decent price

^How much is it though? and how much is Dorney's? Platinum or local?

Care CF Platinum pass prices universal?

Hershey is $140 and Dorney's gold pass is $114 right now

SFNE was about 70 bucks last year for a regular, not a gold pass.

I think the CF platinum is pretty fair. You get until December 31 of that year to use it. And knotts is open all year soooooo. Pretty worth it.

Really when you take into account the everyday admission of the major flagship parks, none of the passes are really astronomical. I think its the smaller parks and chains that have pretty high prices for what you get... But even still if you usually if the pass pays for itself in four visits I say it's still within reasonable. And for the Florida parks even the highest levels of passes can pay for themselves same day in admissions alone

^ I always thought the Florida ones were crazy. But since they are open 363-365 days of the year, it's worth it, especially with 90-100 dollar day ticket prices.

I have to deal with the prices but luckly I get in free for certain parks
