Battlestar Galactica To Be No More!

It was reported that the Battlestar Galactica coaster at Universal Studios Singapore, will be closed permanently and replaced by the end of this year. The ride, which has been SBNO since July 2013, has gone through many issues. Back in 2010, it operated for a week, then closed for 9 months when cracks were founds near the seats and supports. It reopened in February 2011. RWS, the people that operate the park, has only said that the ride is closed pending an attraction review, and have not confirmed this closure yet. The new ride that will replace the Tallest Dueling coaster in the world is said to have a movie theme, new paint, new interior, and many many many other changes.

Really, honestly, Im not surprised about this happening. Lots of people were speculating about this when it closed last year.

It's been confirmed to be a Puss in Boots themed ride and it will be built by Zamperla. It will have a spiral lift like the volares do.

I feel that nobody here is a fan of this coaster... I've only see it on video but for me looks fantastic and very unique!

I thought it was a cool looking coaster and idea. But yeah, saw this coming. Replaced by Puss in Boots? Eww. Volare? EWWWWWWWWW

I liked it and thought it was really unique with 2 different coaster types.

Puss in Boots huh, pretty sure I did some news on that last year, will have to dig for it.
