Again, this shape comes from the force in the middle car: the middle seat is at roughly 0g as it passes the end of the cat walk, then stays at 0g until the pull up. Looks like it gets to about 85 degrees just judging by eye (haven't actually measured it lol).

Problems/suggestions from the keen-eyed amongst you welcomed! (i.e. if it looks cack to you, pls tell!)

From experiencing Shambhala wouldn't the aim to be to keep the back seats at pretty much 0g? As its the only B&M hyper I've ridden my experience is of limited value but that seems to be how they are shaped...

Looks okay to me Gouldy, however my worst shaping eye is probably B&M hypers lol. I could never get the parabola hills right by hand. If it makes you feel better I could have told you you were trying to make a Leviathan-like drop if you had chose a different track style.

Interesting. I've just made the assumption that B&M would calculate force based on the middle seat - based on no evidence whatsoever. But now you've pointed it out, it was only toward the very back of the train on Shambhala that I got weightlessness on the drop.

Shouldn't you be getting negative Gs? I thought the middle to back seats got the negative Gs and the front to middle get the zero?

PS. the part just before the MCBR, and the final helix, will both make a lot more sense once the terraforming is done.

Looks awesome! Don't forget to change the spine thickness. I'm not a fan of how steep the brake run is but it looks like you didn't have a choice :(

Other than that looks like a fun ride!

The steepness of the brake run was intentional. I'd got a steep brake run in mind when I started the layout, because the current B&M end brake runs on the gigas piss me off :lol:

I hate how they look, when they have this really high up brake run which is tilted, but only in the same way an MCBR is tilted - then a steep but controlled descent to the same level as he station. Just put the bloody brake run on a descent! I can't think of a particular reason why you couldn't have the brakes on the descent - you only have to look to i305 to see an IRL example. Why B&M haven't done this on theirs I'll never know.

^B&M have that strange end brake run to allow them to not have to but an mcbr, but are able to have 3 trains anyway. While a train is working it's way down from the elevated brake platform, there is a train in the station and the other train is on the lift.
If all goes well, as the train on the lift goes over the top, the train in the station should just have finished loading/unloading and be leaving the station, just as the train that has been working it's way down from the elevated platform arrives at the brake run right before the station.

I feel you bro.

But seriously though just the mechanics of it works so much better. Even if complete failure of transit it still allows trains back into the station using just this simple measure.

Keep the brakes as is I like them that way. The Leviathan brakes look frigging stupid, especially over the Arrow ride. Layout looks decent too.
