I rode something just like that called Revolution 360 at the Kalahari in Wisconsin Dells. The restraint is a little loose so you fall out of your seat quite a bit.
Yeah I tried a very similar ride at Great Escape, no inversions though. Some good airtime, more fun facing up, but after a few swings the rotation started to make me dizzy and not enjoy as much, even though it's fairly slow. Not big on laterally rotating flat rides other than something like a Starflyer which is fine. When I first saw it, I was really surprised how little it was lol. The ads definitely make it look bigger than it is. It was worth trying once though.
Yeah you certainly wouldn't catch me on that lol, wayyy too much IMO. Past just making me not feel good, those kinda rides get boring after the first few times around so it's extra pointless for me lol. I'll stick to TopSpins, even with a lot of flips. These laterally spinning ones aren't for me.
Wow, amazing that a ride like that actually opens at its respective park. I think the ride similar to that called Cyclos is just a myth. Just like Half Life 3.
