Paradox you made me start crying in Sam's Club. I lost it when I saw the duct tape.

Kind of true, if they do a yearly retrack.

I believe he was suggesting that they rebuild it from the ground up every year, which is obviously not true.

I was at Acrophobia at SFOG and this happened:

I was a bit nervous as I was still afraid of drop towers back then so I turned to the woman next to me and asked "How is the ride?"

She replied: "I don't know, I rode it once a long time ago, but then I promised Jesus I would never ride it again and now He's brought me back."

I'm sort of surprised nobody agreed with him. People at Alton can be so dim.

Don't know the layout of Alton so I can't agree or disagree with this personally. But I'll take your word that the person that said that is an idiot.

Umm the Swarm is at Thorpe Park, not Alton.

Well...
Rita: Intamin Rocket
The Swarm: B&M Wingrider

Only a tiny difference. Looks, colors and layoutwise.

The only element/thing they have in common is a "high speed" turn.

RCDB is your friend my TTD03 :D

Also in fairness - if you haven't been to either park you wouldn't necessarily know that they were at different parks!

^ Oh I know they were at different parks, it just didn't occur to me at the time I posted that they were at different parks and not the same.

One time while riding Corkscrew at Valleyfair, I overheard someone behind me say "This is the outdoor version of Spongebob" (he's talking about the Eurofighter at Nick Univerise). Seriously? A 34-year-old Arrow Corkscrew and a Eurofighter are the same thing?

Overheard a guest conversation where they insisted that Six Flags got all of their rides and themeing "second hand" from Disney.
