Ah... Laser. What I still consider the first "real" coaster I ever went on.

Wow and that ride looked like it had a very expensive theme going on. It is a shame to see such great rides like that go. At least Phantasialand has Black Mamba now! :D

R.I.P. Superwirbel at Holiday Park as it was my very first roller coaster that got deconstructed in 2013.
Also it had a much better pph-value than Sky Sream that is there now.

Edit: 28.12.2014:

For those who are interested in still experiencing the ride here??????s my memorial recreation of it I uploaded a while ago:

I'm going to miss it too, good thing we still have the corkscrew piece in place to remember the ride. I've done plenty of rides on this classic and it was a shame that they let it go. There is plenty of space in other areas of the park. Imo they should have build Sky Scream at a different spot in the park. But I can understand they didn't want to keep throwing money at the old ride.

Awh cool glad they kept a piece of it - they did the same for corkscrew at Alton Towers - put the double corkscrew at the entrance!

Only at Alton they have repainted the track to different colors. Can't say that with Superwirbel:

They moved the it around 15 meters away from it??????s actual location to use it as a gate over the entrance to the new themed area.

R.I.P. The Sparkler at Holiday World... Kind of.

May you be reincarnated into a ugly non matching and horribly named terrible flat ride, even though you never died and I never liked you but still.
