So, I finally got a chance to delve into wing coasters post holiday, and checked out the demo parks. Not gonna lie, I got REALLY excited to see the crazy fences, picnic tables, accurate B&M storage bays, realistic chain lifts etc...

...only to see they were just really creatively used support nodes. Don't get me wrong, I'm always fine to do the work myself, but I really got my hopes up for an easy drag/drop 3d bonus pack with this update, and procedurally generated evac stairs/realistic B&M bays that I thought for a moment were there but still are not :/

Oh well, wingriders look awesome so far at least!

He I'm making fences and then I give up. I hate detailing.

Not to be rude, but how can you be complaining? Wing riders are finally released as a godsend into our homes and their detail and majesty aren't enough to satiate you? The NL2 team actually boasts an advantage to using supports for scenery- there's even a section about it in the ReadMe lol. So it's less than surprising that that's what they're using. The support style scenery isn't as hard as it used to be with support defining, and the customization ability is great for people who can't use software right now (me).

As my first post-note, if there isn't already a package of scene objects like this available, it probably will be soon. Like an NL2 rendition of the CSims Park Pack maybe?

As my second post-note, the NL team never said anything about 3Ds for this update as far as I know, so I don't know why you thought it was a thing anyway.

^ Please don't turn this forum into TPR. I didn't say I was "expecting it," or that I felt "entitled to it," I said I got temporarily excited when I thought I saw an unexpected surprise bonus item in the first park I loaded up, and it turned out to be nothing. Simple as that.

Also, if you go look at my post history, you'll notice I'm neither a stranger to nor afraid of using the support scenery in creative ways, nor do I tolerate slams against the dev team. I simply thought after loaded the first park that they had added some neat, time saving items, and got a little disappointed when I opened the editor and found that it was just smoke and mirrors.

^^ it was actually Turbo I believe who created that park for the NL2 team, who has always been particularly good at supports, not someone on the team itself. I believe what he means is that while its possible to create amazing things with just supports, not all of us have the same skill set, and he was hoping that the scenery was usable to make his own projects slightly easier
What are these for?

This was the first coaster enthusiast site I ever signed up for, so I didn't come here after being banned. I just absolutely hate TPR.

Perhaps we need to pool some CC resource to make our own little resource pack?

It's EXTREMELY impressive whoever did it. I figured the queue was probably supports, until I saw the lift motor, maint. bay, picnic tables, etc. THAT was all so well done I really thought they were going to be 3ds.

It's ok though, I'm learning to make my own right now anyhow!

I am 3ds disabled as well. It would be cool if there were official CC templates that consisted of prefab queues, gates, areas and stations for different types of coasters.

Yes it was Turbo.
Blame him :P
In all seriousness I think a CC Resource pack would be a great idea.

Something like this?

What would be considered basic stuff? Like benches? fences? They aren't that hard to make really.
