The point is Hershey park is theme chocolate and gives chocolate out and can get away without theme rides if they wanted to but this is six flags they don't give away chocolate for free so they don't get away with there bad theming

So if every Six Flags gave away free chocolate everything will be fine?

Any park that simply gave away chocolate would be fine by me!

Just like my mother always told me, don't accept chocolate bars from strangers unless they have king size.

^Is that supposed to be sexual?

It is Six Flags, only butterscotch candy.

Who said anything about bad theming? Six Flags best coasters have minimal to no theming. They don't need it.

My point is Skyrush wasn't themed, and no one cared. No one will care here either. This ride will have everything it needs.

And remember when Intimidator 305 briefly became Intrimidator 305?

I think what he is trying to say is that Hershey's environment is themed to chocolate enough already, so they can get away with not themed rides, but since Six Flags doesn't have a theme they cant do the same.

Can't say I agree with this, but I just thought I should clarify 8-)

^ No I got that. My point was that Six Flags can and has gotten away with it, and so will Cyclone. Their best coasters ( Tatsu, Nitro, El Toro, X2 and so forth have very little theming and are still successful. Skyrush was just one similar example. I could have named a bunch of other examples.

I305 is in King's Dominion which is a Cedar Fair park, not a Six Flags park.

I could care less about themes, I can't ride theming. When upside-down at like 50mph the last thing I think about is tree or prop placement in some random part of the layout. The only time theming matters is when you are stuck in line for hours and don't want to just stare at blank walls. As for the rids themselves, I don't care what or where it is, parking lot or Everest as long as it's fun

^They do make a difference, at least for me. A barrel roll barely making it through a building like on X-Flight is much better than just a regular barrel roll :P!

It really depends on where the scenery is put. It would be cool to say go over some sort of scenic object during the Stall, as well as some tunnels and junk in different parts of the ride... Speaking of the tunnels, Where the hell did they go?

How can anyone look at these pictures and say they want the original Cyclone back? I'm planning a special trip to the New England area just to ride this. :o

The wooden one before Six Flags reprofiled it was apparently a pretty viscious ride, especially since lots of the hills had a nice ejector kink in them.
