Yeah, SROS keeps getting worse every year. The last couple years it has gotten noticably rougher (far from intolerable though), which probably has to do with the spacing between the track and wheels. The wheels are probably not being as replaced as much as they should, which causes the train to jump around the track more instead of "focusing" on going only forward, which makes it slower and rougher. The roughness isn't bad at all though, the only negative effect of it is that it seems like it loses too much speed by the end...not much, but a noticable amount. It also feels like the hill after the straightaway isn't producing as much negative gs as it used to, but that could very well be from the new restraints also.

lol, the new restraints have nothing to do with the airtime! but i agree that it's starting to loose it's speed. and i also agree with whoever said it.. canobie lake NEEDS a new coaster almost desperatly. it's been WAY too long without one. lol, they can put it in the picnic area and have the entrance over by the crappy psycho drome...(what is a drome?)

It doesnt affect the negative gs, but it sure affects how much you can feel it.

SROS at SFNE is the best, and I agree with Darien Lake getting a new coaster, six flags puts to much time into Great America, Great Adventure, and Magic Mountain, they need to focus on the smaller parks that doen't have as many rides and to keep there parks cleaner and to have better service and to mantain rides well.

There is a FAT CHANCE, That canobie lake will be getting a new coaster in the near future. the built StarBlaster, a S&S Tower, that doesn't go much higher than the trees. Salem NH, has noise ristrictions, but not hight. i am friends with the owner and i have put the bug in his ear every year about the new latest and gratest coaster, that he would have room to build in his park. At 1 point i thought an giant inverted boomarang would be awesome. it is nothing to jump around about, but tell me where there is 1 any wehre near the east coast!

anyway FAT CHANCE canobie lake will get any type of coaster other than a kidie better than the dumb Dragon!

Not all clones suck, Batman isn't bad, either are the Deja Vu or Medusa clones. But the Arrow double corkscrew clones suck, BGT should tear it out and build some huge flat ride or sumtin

What Medusa clones? All 3 Medusas have different layouts.

Scream is pretty much a clone. I hear theres a difference in one of the angles, but, its essentially a clone of Medusa East.

All the other Medusa's, that have the name medusa (all three of them) are different. Shoot, one of ems an AWESOME CCI woodie :P

Well, you said "Medusa clones", you didn't specify the coaster that was a clone of one of the Medusas [;)]

And anyways, Scream isn't a clone of Medusa East. Thats the same as everyone saying how Kingda Ka is a clone of TTD. They're similiar, but are NOT clones. I rode both and there are noticable differences in each one.

There are a few parks I think need a new coaster:

-Michigan's Adventure (Hyper GT-X)
-Valleyfair (B&M invert or floorless)
-Dorney Park (GCI woodie)
-Knott's Berry Farm (B&M wing or giga coaster)
-Adventureland Iowa (any modern steel coaster)
-Great Escape (anything)
-Six Flags America (RMC woodie or Iron Horse of Wild One)
-Six Flags St. Louis (any modern steel coaster or Iron Horse of The Boss or Screamin' Eagle)

Don't RMC Boss, Screamin' Eagle, or Wild One. It's not needed really. It's bad enough they killed Medusa in Mexico and Colossus.

I really think Kennywood could use another awesome terrain coaster, especially since KW bought that plot of land behind the Racer (which is another ravine like the Phantom drops into). An RMC terrain coaster like Outlaw Run would be amazing in my opinion!

Honestly, I believe that Six Flags Over Texas could get a new big coaster in the future. If you think about it, the newest coaster they got was a redo of the Texas Giant. After all, they do have that entire area where flashback used to be, plus where the dodgems were way back when.

We don't speak of it.

That's our newest install.

4 years ago now. But it is used and a POS.

Terra Mitica or Parque Warner Madrid.
The last new ride TM got was a Zacspin in 2007, aside from that, they have an RCCA that is regarded as one of the worst wooden coasters ever and a rough SLC.

Paqrue warner hasn't gotten anything (aside for a junior coaster) since they opened in 2003, at least the have a batman clone and a fairly decent floorless. Though they do have Coaster Express, an RCCA that is regarded as THE worst wooden coaster out there.

Hey, Kennywood hasn't had a really good coaster since the Phantom was remade in 2001! Skyrocket is fun, but isn't really that thrilling of a ride, and is nowhere near as good as it could have been. 14 years is a looong wait

I'm gonna say SF St. Louis. It's not too far from Sfgam, and it would be nice for them to add to their already nice collection of rides

I agree with whoever said Knotts. But I'd like them to go with something not yet found on the west coast. My dream is a B&M Dive coaster.
