I was there recently and they were only running one side for 2-4 hours per day. If it rained, it appeared to me that they would use it to delay or not open it at all. So basically that seems to be their tactic to keep the cycles down on it and prevent them from having to do anything other then the bare minimum amount of carpentry work on it.

I doubt the loss of this attraction will cause a drop in ticket prices. At $115 for a day ticket it was quite high already, hard to justify it with 2 major attractions off the billboard.

I find it funny that a few years ago, all the Busch Gardens fans were saying that they were going to tear down Gwazi and replace it with a hyper or giga coaster. How unlikely that seems now...

That's like finding a Waffle House with no white trash in it.

They will probably use the station as a haunted house.

I can't believe these guys are bawlking about how much its going to cost to tear it down. First off, gas is at an all time low. So send jimmy down to the 7-11 to get some slurpees, 40 gallons of gas in dispensable containers, and some long handled lighters. You know for safety so everyone keeps their eye brows and the insurance rates don't go through the roof.

Then strip the ride of anything salvageable that could be sold to another park or used to sell to theme park enthusiast at a 200% mark up. Take the gas and start pouring it all over the base of the lifts, then light the damn thing on fire. Within a few hours all that will be left is some concrete footers. Make sure to salvage the bolts, brackets, and chains for the metal content.

It would be the worlds largest bonfire. You could even do it late one night and charge a special admission fee to see it up close.

They'll probably have a difficult time selling the trains to another park with a GCI since GCIs are so weak that they won't wear out the trains at all.

Don't forget when they made those plans gas was still sky high lol. It's the new summer event now that Blackfish chased all the bands away.

Seriously though, I'm still rooting for a new themed land. there is more than enough space once that mess is gone

Pretty much, it feels like he needs to become the top poster of the entire site. Altho I appreciate the effort and the small activity that adds to the site, it ends up being pretty spammy~
