Overview:
Coming in Spring 2015! El Diablo is an utterly unique seven story tall looping steel coaster which towers over the Plaza del Carnaval section of the park.
You??????ll face off against other riders in specially designed seats which bolt up and back the looped track like a pendulum, higher and higher until you??????re suspended completely upside down in mid-air!
Then El Diablo gains enough momentum to soar through a full 360 degree loop, again and again and again! The steel beast can even change directions, halfway through the loop!
This super-swift super-coaster stands tall next to Six Flags Great Adventure behemoths like El Toro. But it will take super-sized courage to ride this Devil!
Facts:
El Diablo is a one-of-a-kind steel looping coaster experience unlike anything else at Six Flags Great Adventure. Riders board unique forward and backward cars which face one another, then they rocket up one side of a massive, seven story tall 360 degree loop, only to swing back down again like a pendulum.
Soon, the Devil builds enough momentum to reach the very top of the loop, leaving riders suspended in a complete upside-down inversion high over the Plaza del Carnaval section of the park.
Then, El Diablo lives up to its name with a mind-bending series of 360 degree loops, even reversing direction halfway through the loop for more high-adrenaline disorientation!
Riders must be at least 48?????? to board this scaly-skinned powerhouse, the 13th coaster to join the park??????s collection of world class thrill rides.
