I'm not that good at finishing projects at the moment. I think I have three on the go now. But hey, this is from playing around with the new wing coaster (bandwagon I know..). I've found it hard to get a good balance and they're not the easiest to make ride well. Here's some screens of my hopefully finalised layout.

I like the colors a ton and the layout from what I can tell looks pretty good so far. As far as projects go, remember to build for yourself and not for others :D

Haha trust me, I do. Probably means theres a few aspects of the layout people don't like. It's full of B&M-isms I enjoy though.

Anyway, more screens?

LOVE the colors! Something about that helix is pretty appealing as well though I can't quite place it yet lol. Guessing it's launched?

I would recommend reducing the car count to 5 since the only B&M Launched Wing has the 5 car due to weight, but like you said, build for you. I really like the colors too!

I'm sure its not impossible to have more power behind the launch - just wasn't economical for Holiday World.

Looks fun though, its hard to tell what the second element is from the first set of pictures - is it a sort of stengel dive?

You guessed right.

I'm using a little artistic license here. I'm not a big fan of the shorter 5 row trains aethetically. I love the gracefulness of a larger train, so opted for 7 as a happy medium. I had to weigh up reality with what I wanted. You're probably right about the power needed to launch such a large train but I'm sure it's do-able...somehow.

I'm not sure it counts as a stengel dive as it incorporates more air-time. I've taken it from Parrot Coaster and Fury 325's turn around. I tend to treat creating my B&Ms as a recreation of elements sewn together into a layout of my own. I loose originally points usually, but it's what I enjoy in a good realism NL coaster. The phrase "what would B&M do?" is a running theme with my design usually =/ (and my life obvs).

There's something about this coaster that I really like, not sure if its the colors, shaping, or the scenery so far, but it's awesome! Keep up the awesome work, this looks like it'll be a beautiful coaster! :D

Been working on the first two elements. Mainly support work, I've saved alot of flat space to try get my sketchup skills to scratch, but the ride's peninsular is coming along nicely!

I was going to tell you the lift hill approach was a bit long but then I realized it's a launch lol. Keep up the great work. It fits into its environment really well.

It might be the angle but that is one cool near miss with the track in the second picture

Awesome! Nice track-work and supports, also like the colours. I have noticed the loop is the highest element but not the first, this doesn't really matter at all but I don't know if IRL is very common. Great Teaser also!

BTW that rock texture is available in NL?

Actually, the dive loop is the largest element! followed by the overbank and then the loop.

But even if the loop was the tallest element, look at Nemesis for example, it's largest element is in the second half of the ride.

Looks amazing!!

And to clarify what elRekko was talking about. Generally speaking, with launched coasters, the tallest/largest element is first in case of a slower launch/misfired launch. That way the ride will essentially have 2 options. 1) Roll over the hill; and since it's the largest element, it should be designed to make it to the end (for example look how a block brake is designed in the layout). 2) Roll back.... Well, I guess 3 stuck at the top balanced haha

Absolutely spot on, but as bob said before it seems it's the perspective of the picture.

Looks good, and I agree with the aforementioned statements (its the one big issue with my intamin I designed but don't really want to have to re-profile the first hill!).

Will we see similar 3DS to that you used on Hawk? Or will this be 3DS-lite so to speak?
