That's like finding a Waffle House with no white trash in it.

After reading the article in its entirety, I can't help but fixate on what would've happened it Six Flags wouldn't sold Worlds of Adventure to Cedar Fair? Would it still be standing today (I personally think so) or would the closure of this OUTSTANDING mega-park happened later on down the line?

If SF didn't sell out the park to CF it would have closed sooner. They had the worlds largest amusement park. Why would they sell it if they thought it would make them any money? The park didn't have that much going for it. I had just gotten in to coaster when it closed but I never even heard of it till it was too late. I lived like 20 minutes away and had no idea of it's existence, but I had heard of Cedar Point and went there instead.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

Ok announcing tonight as I said opening years plans we will be restoring the big dipper sense it's registered as a coaster landmark we will also bring back thunderhawk at its former location but with new trains and a smoother layout plus a new ending we will be restoring the front gate and adding new buildings and new flats!!

I really enjoyed that article. Didn't know this park was the biggest one in the world. It was a really good concept, shame it was poorly executed. And what a shame Cedar Fair demolished it! The park could have had a new life if the infrastructure was still there. Good luck with the project, it looks very ambitious.
