I was very suspicious of this from the get go. It's a stupid place to try and squeeze the ride anyways.

This ride is going to be another boomerang. (Not meaning the ride itself, but the fact that it's going to be every where)

^ I'm afraid of that, its such a capacity nightmare, at least the boomerangs weren't as bad as this.

My rebuttal to these plans is construction is going on right now at the site of Drachen Fire. Has anyone seen work in Italy?

Update!
In the Loop has posted a new video of the construction site for the new ride Tempesto or Diavolo! Credit to them for the video!

So is this officially worse than SFMM's zacspin idea?

The ride is actually MUCH better. It was a great addition for SFDK, but for a park that built rides like Dark Kastle, Escape from Pompeii, and Verbolten, its a definite step in the other direction. On the other hand the foot print is small, its thrilling, its not going into an overly themed area of the park, the area could use another attraction anyways, its not really a loss even though the attraction isnt really notable.

Based on the constructions pictures I've seen in some other places, the ride is coming along well, but it baffles me as to why they still haven't announced it yet. Everyone knows it is coming, so they have nothing to lose by procrastinating on this announcement.

I know, right? Really confusing.

At least the color scheme is pretty awesome!

And just look at the size of this thing compared to Apollo!

I see a few reasons why they would not announce it

I'm sorry I still think it's a bad location, bad ride idea, and a bad color scheme.

the location is opportunistic, the ride idea isn't the worst thing ever and is still a fun ride. The color scheme though. They put tropical in the dead center of Europe. The colors are a failure.

^ Kind of explains Busch Gardens as an overall company in the last year with closures and stuff.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg will make an announcement about the new coaster in March according to BGW's Carl Lum.

I bet it'll be that looping wooden inverted coaster that came up when we were debating Thunderbird's style last year!

Wooden inverted coaster.....no.

Also this Diavlo ride or whatever it's called at BGE is stupid and I still hate it.
