Weekly Spotlight on a Track uploaded to the Exchange!

Hey everyone,

With the trend of adding new things to the site lately, we are going to do another. I have listened to your comments on the Track Exchange survey, which if you haven't taken it yet, I suggest you do so here, and I am making one of the most requested ideas reality. We are now going to do.......

"Weekly Spotlight"

It is pretty self explanatory, but basically we will be "Spotlighting" a track uploaded to the Exchange that we feel is of exceptional quality and precision. We will go into more detail than a typical Track rating and really try to point out all the positive and if necessary, negative things about the track. The moderators and administrators of the site will have the final decision on the spotlight track for the week. Most often though, I (TTD03) will be making the decisions.

While I will be going over all the tracks every week for review, I will take suggestions at this link.

To be eligible for the Weekly Spotlight, your track must be uploaded on or after 12:01 AM EST on Wednesday or before 11:59 PM EST Tuesday.

The Weekly Spotlight will occur every Saturday and the winner of each week will receive 100 points towards their CoasterCrazy account.

The weekly spotlight will be of a track uploaded with the week right? If so could you clarify which week is the "current" week in first post of the topic? [:

^ So basically, I am doing this in realtime, unlike the weekly awards. Meaning, I will be spotlighting a track uploaded "that" week, whereas the weekly awards are done at least 1 week later after the track is uploaded.

For example:
If a track was uploaded on March 6th, and the Weekly Spotlight was scheduled to be on March 7th, the track uploaded on March 6th is eligible for the March 7th Weekly Spotlight. It is not eligible for the March 14th Weekly Spotlight, only the March 7th one.

So to get the best chance of a Weekly Spotlight award, the track should have been uploaded on March 1st, so that it had the whole week to get recognition for the March 7th Spotlight.

Since I have proven too busy to do this 2 weeks in a row, I will be making up the spotlights today, and we will be changing the day from Saturday to Wednesday. All the specifics have been changed in the original post.
