Hello! This thread is dedicated to my NoLimits 2 coasters. I post my finished projects and wip stuff here.

First Post (10 Jan 2015):
Hey guys! I just started working on a new coaster. I came up with the idea during my last trip. It will be a highly-themed Intamin Accelerator with onboard audio.
I will reveal the theme and ride details during the development process, for (hopefully) excitement.

For now, i'll reveal these two screenshots:




Looking at the screenshots, you can already partially guess how the coaster would look like in the future.
It's pretty hard to guess now, but more screenshots and information will be released soon.

I made first two inversions. These may look pretty bad now, but you get the idea.

Here is some more info about the coaster:
- This will be an indoor coaster.
- The queue line will be probably themed as a college interior. That sounds stupid, but you'll understand it when i reveal the story.

The coaster is looking great so far. One thing I noticed is how tight your elements are. It could just be the pictures but the loop especially looks very tight.

Cant wait to hear more about the theme!

If it Frat Party themed? That would actually be pretty awesome.

I made it to the first trim brake run! The design is halfway finished now! Here is a video showing current progress:



As you can see, the design is very compact. The launch is 77kph (or 48mph), and the maximum height is only 23,5m. Right now there's 5 inversions, and there's more to come.

The confusing track is a feature:



And now i'll reveal some more info about the theme:
- It will be a dark ride.
- The theme will NOT be based on a movie.
- This coaster is inspired by a real one.

Now it will be easy to guess, i think.
I'll reveal the theme and the backstory after finishing the design, because i'll need some help with scripting and theming.

I like the idea,.. but i have the slight feeling that the train is a bit too long =)

^Yes, it was! I fixed that but never posted any screenshots. The shorter train has 6 cars, as you can see on the screenshot below.
By the way, the design is almost finished, i just need to polish the final part a bit.

The design is finished! I also started working on supports and scripting. What is left to do is the hardest parts: supporting and theming.

So here is the ride theme:
Basically, it is a mix of Rock 'n' Roller Coaster and Verbolten. The train will be themed as a car, will feature onboard audio (some songs from "Face The Heat" album by Scorpions). The train will have lights attached to it at the front to illuminate road signs (signposts, speed restriction signs). The photo point will sell photos themed as speeding camera tickets.
The story is pretty simple. There is a guy who loves rock music. He has an VIP ticket to the upcoming Scorpions concert. However, on the concert day he is left after lessons in college. When he is finally released, he realizes that he has 50 minutes to get to the concert. He gets in his car and drives very fast and unsafe to get to the concert quickly.

That might sound strange and disappointing, but it's not yet late to change the theme or the story. Tell me what you think about both, and i'll see how i can improve it.

I like the coaster, its compactness, and I actually think the theme is really cool.

I think it's great!

It kinda of reminds me of a cross between Get Him To the Greek and Detroit Rock City. Sounds like a very fun ride. Can't wait to see some of the theming turn up.

Thats a lot of trains and a short bid of track, are you planning on seperate load and unload?

Wanted to revive this project. Ended up changing the whole idea. The onboard audio is scrapped, the name will be changed and the theme is completely different from what it was before. I will finish and upload the project soon. Still have to polish it.

It still reminds me a ton of Kanonen. I can't blame you for scrapping the theming, I hate making 3D models lol.
