new coaster type

i hath come up with a new coaster type i call it inverted stand up.
(you can put your ideas on this page and you can coment on other peoples.)

yeah i think everyones had the stand-up inverted coaster idea, im suprised it hasnt been done although i heard rumours that B&M may be incorperating the idea in one of thier future rides.

I like the idea of the inverted bullet coaster someone made up on this site (sorry i couldnt remember who) which is like a giga inverted track, with the train shaped as a missle.

Stand Up - Dive Machine i think is a cool idea. Somewhat even more thrilling than the original.

I saw a prototype ride where there was a train which covered both sides of the rails somewhere, you some people sit in the top train and people are also below them.

Cant think of many more....

I was thinking of a floorless/inverted/standup. In other words you sit in Acrophobia type seats (bike seats basicly) so your in a standing position with no floor. But then a thought came to mind. You go down the hill, into a loop and the high G force presses you into the bike seat...for guys this is dangerous lol

yeah that was me [approve]. It's kinda supost to be a launch giga/hyper coaster. But a lift could work to[:p]

I thought of a "Free Fall" coaster. The train's seats are mounted like how a ferris wheel is, so as the train goes through a vertical drop, the seat is sitting in an upright position as it falls down the drop. This idea would also give the experience of riding backwards as well as flips. This idea is somewhat different than X because the train is free spinning like a ferris wheel

good ideas the edge. i thought of all those before and some other designs that i cant think of at the moment

A backwards-flying so you can have a vertical free-fall type of drop!

i think that a floorless standup would be cool(but it would have to have specially deigned cars and stand-up "seats" not bycucle seats for guys and girls)but i think it would be a cool ride.

kinda like what I said eze7789. Only mine would have hurt the family jewels because I had the bike seat idea lol

I think somebody should just make an inverted hypercoaster. (I'm sick of doing spiral drops on inverts.) I'd like something similar to my 2 oldest coasters, "Tempest 2" and "Stunt Plane" to be built.

would this be like "Free Fall" at SFMM? You get in the thing, you're standing and it just drops and you end on your back?

Whenever I played RCT1 I would always make a Reverse Freefall Coaster and put Flying Coaster trains on it. So you would launch out on your back then go up the vertical hill and freefall back down.

o.k then you kno them rides what shoot you up in the air sometimes they are called space shot, wel i was thinking couldnt you hath the car and track from that but make a coaster[:D]

What about if you get ripsaw at alton towers, put that on to a track and have it going round as the ride goes round, if you see what i mean?

basicly X at SFMM then.

4d Impulse coaster would be fun. Impulse coaster above the track, dont beleive thats been done.
Dive machine coaster were the seats would tilt as you hit the brakes at the top, so your in a position were you facing straight out (instead of looking dowwn)for the drop and corrects the normal sitting postion as it hits the bottom.

Giant dive machine also, like 350ft+ and 16 accross row seating. [;)]

That one "flying rverse freefall" actually sounds like fun. I'd definitely ride it. Theme it after 007, name it something like "Bullet", and you have a hit![:D]
