After some time trying to warm the sausage finally I manage myself to do sausage roll in FVD (like 45 min trying it) I think is a little bit early to release a new project because i'm still in the learning process of FVD and it's a pain in the ass but once you got it things going to be more easy. What do you think about the shape? I think this inversion is going to be very unique, following this inversion I plan to do a record breaker inversion but lets see.

Please comment and tell me if you prefer a fat sausage roll or a thin one.

BTW -0.9g is a good value for rear car?

You have really suggestive names for your stuff. not a bad thing as long as you don't go overboard..... So a sausage roll is somewhere between a cutback and banana roll?... It seems to bank more that a cutback, but doesn't quite get the slope for a banana roll
What are these for?

When I saw this thread, I thought of the memory of when I was in boy scout camp and we were shouting G String at each other. I was so puzzled at what a g string was back then. I had no clue what it was then.

Just be glad the site isn't called weeweeslap anymore! hahahaha

Anyways it definitely looks very cut-back-y to me rather than banana roll. Needs to come further!

Mmmmm it reminds me of an inverted top hat. But stretched horizontally. I wouldn't go as far as giving it a name, but if it rides good keep it.

I haven't tried a banana roll in FVD, but shouldn't be different than a cobra roll. The high positive G to low positive should be lower and the G force at the valley should pull less Gs, but rest should be the same. Will try tomorrow though.

After an hour and a half this is the closes I get to a banana roll, I know I need to curve the banana more, still looks too verticaly but this challenge makes me learn better how it work this stuff. Tomorrow I'll continue.

Here is a quickly made banana roll. It's not good by any means, but you can take a look at the file and then adapt it to the real one (or to your needs):

I've never been on a coaster with a 'Sausage Roll'. I can't imagine how awesome it feels when your going into one.

You need to think less with your sausage and more with your brain if you want to make jokes like that.

Working ATM in a brand new element.

Immelmann 500

I've to adjust some values, the roll transition is too quick creating a high lateral force (1.2 lat. G)

What is for you a good reasonable lat. g on a zero-g, heartline?

@Dapalm: It seems you use a diferent FVD++ version of mine and i can't open the file :(

The element looks painful in that third picture, but I guess it rides fine. As for the Gs, it depends on your intentions. If you want it to ride like an old school B&M 0G roll or corckscrew 1.2G is fine (as long as it doesn't last long). If you want a more floaty feeling you should reduce it. But being an Intamin it will surely have some high laterals during the ride.

Zero-G Fake roll

There is a problem with the immelmann 500 this type of cars doesn't allow so much rotation. The reason why I finally choose a 'standard' immelmann was the collision between the cars in the rotation.

Despite of weird look of the zero-g it's completely smooth.

I added a long airtime at the top of the immelmann.
