^ I read somewhere, can't remember where, that these smaller dive machines are 87*. Its interesting to ponder though because you have to wonder why the 3 degree difference, it can't be that big of a deal to go just 3* steeper. But then on the other side of the argument, those 3* don't really effect the feeling of free fall all that much to matter.
^ The angle of the seats makes up the 3* Oblivion at AT is only 87*, but feels vertical because of the seat angle. I don't know why they don't make it 90 anyway, it would hardly affect the manufacturing process. Must be a reason behind it
^ It does indeed haha. My bad. The seat angle certainly has an effect on how steep it feels though. Seems to exaggerate the angle even if your body isn't at all 90 degrees
