The worlds fastest thrill ride is now open in Old Town, Orlando Florida. The ride is currently running at speeds over 110mph but it is still only the first week of operation. Within the next month the ride is due to top 120mph making it the worlds fastest ride (faster than Top Thrill Dragster) 0 - 120 in 2 seconds? wow

That is a drag racing track type ride. Not a rollercoaster.TTD will still hold the record for fastest rollercoaster. We have one at a Family Fun Park about 5 minutes from here of the same thing just goes from 0-70mph in 3 sec.

of course, the Richard Petty driving experience or maybe the Russian supersonic flight ride is the world's fastest. it's just that they both aren't really amusement park rides.
