I think people would live with 0.7 lats on a wingrider. That design would be hell with real OTSR's through lol.

Wing riders generally have huge lats. .7 would be fine definitely. Gatekeeper hits at lest 1.5 several times. Maybe even close too 2 sometimes.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

The high lats are the reason the Wing coasters have the vest restraints, aren't they? So that they kind of staple you in so the lats don't affect you as badly.

Exactly! Those vests are much more tolerant than standard otsr restraints!

Ok, so I will use 1.2-1.3 as max force. Thanks for your answers, I was going mad since I couldn't reduce the force in FVD. Wingrider is a tricky style BTW.

I don't believe that for a second. Wild mouse coasters generally have 1 G lateral on those turns (or so I'm told) there's no way Gatekeeper exceeds that. There is a reason why those rides are so slow-paced.

I wouldn't say they hit 1.5 laterals. But I know they exceed 1.0, sometimes. Think about it. On a rightward inline twist, on the right wing, the seats on the underside at 90 degrees are experiencing 1.0 G from gravity acting on them laterally, plus the centrifugal G-forces from the cars rotating about the twist. I would say they get up to 1.2 maximum. MAYBE 1.3, for sim purposes. I've gotten my twisting dive drop to have a max of 1.2 lats in any seat, so it just takes very careful, tedious shaping and testing. Curse B&M for being so incredibly excellent at what they do, lol.

I remember wild mouse turns being 1,5g lateral. I should put it up to the test sometime with some cheap G-force app.

Edit: Is there a tutorial on how to make dueling coasters? Don't you need transfer tracks for that?

Welcome! As stated above, sketchup is most certainly the best software to use for a station. It's really versatile and easy to use. If you want something a little more complex, then check out something like 3Ds Max or Blender

Welkom en veel plezier hier op het forum. ;)

Good luck with creating your own station. It takes a lot of time and effort to create something good looking. :)

So its been about 3 months since the wingrider update. When do you guys think we will get anything new? I'm sure this has been discussed already but i'm just hungry for more new stuff. I'd love to see RMC coasters in NL2 one day. I know there are ways to create RMC style coasters and track but all that is just too complicated for me. What do you guys expect in the next major update?

I think they're maybe working on getting the Mac update out as a priority - might get an additional flat ride or two thrown in the mix though!
