^ Point taken. Well, g-force indicator in No Limits shows a tad difference though, in vert g's when the drop angle is between 80 and 90.

Hey guys,

After months of work, I finished my project: a 3D on-ride of Baron 1898.

So, do you want to experience what it??????s like to ride Baron 1898?
Check out this video: http://youtu.be/h9LmgNDF3_4

Greetings, Gijs de Groot (15 years old)
PS I got permission from the Efteling to publish this video.

As for the vertical drop part, that also looks like one at Gold Reef City! Plunge from the shaft-like building! So I would call this ride "The 2nd (African) Tower of Terror"! :D

^Too bad they didn't build a drop into the shaft. That would have been so much more awesome.

Update from today:
Image
Lots of small supports being put in their spot

Image
First zero g support standing

Image

Image
This is going to be tiny

Image
Second zero g support standing

Image
Several smaller supports on it's way

Image

Image
More and more supports popping up

Image
Now it's just waiting until the track will be hoisted in :)

Image
It's going to be one tiny immelmann

Damn! No custom supports!

I really hope that immelman has great forces.

^ They're probably paying quite a bit extra for that lift as it is. I get what you mean though, those supports on the entire ride would really make this a great ride
What are these for?

That support seems... unsupporting.

^Looking at the way the tracklayout runs it's probably for the top part of the helix. And let's not forget the empty footer still at the bottom ;)

That's it for today

I think in less than a week the entire layout should be finished now. It's only a bunch of small supports that need to be placed. :)

The Immelmann looks pretty and the zero-g is tighter than I was expecting. I swear B&Ms go up so fast.

It looks so wrong with the bottom 1/3rd buried like that.

Trackwork should be done in a week at most at the rate they're going.

Apparently today it was pretty quiet on the construction site, mostly working on the details and finished touches. Not much special happening:

They seem to be working incredibly quickly, the entire project has flown by! It feels like only last week they released the teaser. Great pics Dirk!
