Is that true, or just a joke GerstlCrazy? Seems not very politically correct if true, but different countries have different standards so you never know.

Also Fahrenheit is not remotely near Skyrush and even farther away from Intimidator 305 when it comes to intensity. If Intimidator is a 9.8, and Skyrush is a 9.5, I'd say Fahrenheit is like a 7.5 in intensity to me. Fun ride, though not as exciting as I'd hoped. I think it just doesn't really sustain speed enough...the pacing is like a newer B&M through the first half, and the second half paces well but doesn't have a ton of raw speed left. Haven't ridden Cheetah Hunt, but it does look tamer overall than most major Intamins from the past 15 years.

Lol not the posts I was expecting...I do think Blackfish makes a relevant point, though I'm not going to delve into it and I am always one to try to take the approach of balance over sensationalism. I hope Busch Tampa goes giga, FL and that area of the country have nothing in that vein and I think that park could be an amazing setting for such a coaster. That being said, BGE's new coaster leaves me with low, low expectations.

On Taron, I'm pretty floored to see what Intamin cooks up.

Yeah I agree on all your points - can't wait for this ride to develop further and to get some solid details on the layout etc.

That's not why.

Clearly there is no relationship with Intamin if they just ordered new restraints for Maverick.

No one is saying that Intamin isn't active in the U.S, because they are just as, if not more than active than usual. It's just that there has been a lack of Intamin coasters in the U.S for the last 3 years because of an amalgam of events and reasons

And supplying parts to parks across the U.S, and they will be involved in the building of Skyscraper, etc. They are still active

Phantasialand is one of those parks that doesn't have a lot, but everything they do have is A+ work. I have really high hopes for this.
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka
8-Voyage | 9-Maverick | 10-Monster

Couldn't agree more with this. Phantasialand is the epitome of using resources to their advantage and while people say that Winjas is sub-par, it is a great family coaster and personally one of my favorite coasters that Maurer has ever built.

I think Winjas looks awesome. Every roller coaster there, and two of the coolest water rides on the planet (Chiapas and River Quest). Phantasialand is definitely high on the bucket list. And this new Intamin is already looking awesome.

I'm still astounded at just how much of this is still shrouded in secrecy, even at this stage of construction. The layout so far looks superb and if the Screamscape rumours are true, this will sure offer a lot of different ride experiences all combined into one! :) I feel a trip to Phantasialand is on the cards for 2016. Meet anyone, haha! :P
