That shoulder restraint seriously looks like it's going to double the loading/unloading times. Not to mention that it's going to bug you a lot during the ride, since it has some quick whipping in the 2 vertical twists.

I still feel kind of optimistic about this ride. Aside from the terrible capacity it'll most likely bring on and the somewhat uncomfortable look of the OTSRs, I still feel like it'll be an enjoyable ride. Maybe I'm just not as picky about details as you guys are
I am actually quite happy that the OTSR's are there to accommodate those with disabilities. It is worth the sacrifice if it means that they can enjoy the same experience.

That's like finding a Waffle House with no white trash in it.
I don't mean to sound harsh, but if one isn't capable of keeping their torso upright, they probably should not be riding in the first place. I highly doubt the OTSRs are there to accommodate and kind of disability, it's much more likely their purpose is to assuage the fears of an ignorant public.
^That's what I said. When I said ignorant, I meant fat. But yes, Tempesto is every so slightly larger than its counterparts @ 154' vs 150', it was assumed the same until BGW finally announced the thing the other day. It's still super icky to me, TPR folks are largely a chorus of how well it fits into the park and how forceful it's going to be...

It's interesting, I think some are just reaching too hard to be positive about the project. Yes, it may be a good coaster out of context, but you can't divorce the coaster from its environment. This an absolutely thoughtless addition for BGE and the park's first straight up clone (Grover doesn't count, neither does Griffin). I'd be singing a different tune if it were a custom layout a la Full Throttle in a location that made sense.
It defiantly wasn't the best choice but it was far from the worst. It is a clone but a pretty fun one, shoulder harnesses may totally ruin it so we'll have to wait and see though. From the pictures I've seen it looks a lot better on the inside than the outside and may look pretty decent once everything's finished. Definitely not worth the trip over their but probably a pretty fun ride.
Woah, the brakes at the top seem to hit a lot harder than I would have thought. I'm actually now optimistic about this ride. Apollo was sorta lonely and now there's a reason to hang out over in festa. BGW will never get a wooden coaster, so I don't really know what other kind of coaster I could hope for them to get at this point. It would still be nice to see something go back on the old DF site someday though.
