Hey all, now I'm not sure if it's just me, but I am a massive fan of pyromusicals (firework displays choreographed with exquisite perfection to music), including story, theme, fire, lights and lasers and such, some examples being Disney, Alton Towers and Liseberg.

Any one else interested in them, they've sort of become a hobby for me over the years having been interested in them ever since I was younger.

FWSim is a great program that is great for creating your own displays if interested, below is just a little display I did recently.

Would be interesting seeing what others think about pyromusicals.

:)

I really like what Disney does with the Fantasmic ending, that's my overall favorite pyromusical. Otherwise I like them if they are there, but I don't go searching for them.

I like the Lone Star Nights laser and firework show that Six Flags Fiesta Texas does during the summer. But I would have to agree with you, if they are there, then I will go watch them, but not go searching for them unless I absolutely have to.

Go to Dollywood. The firework show at the end is simply amazing and very inspirational! I love how the final firework is a butterfly and lights up the entire sky.

That was really good, nicely done man. I could really get into something like this, I loved doing it in RCT3. But I seriously don't have the time :(

Interesting responses to this topic. I agree with most of you as in I don't actively seek to visit pyromusical displays but do have a very strong interest in them and constantly follow the major companies on YouTube and whatever. I mainly enjoy the thematics and choreography that goes into the displays and theme parks tend to have the most spectacular of them all which in some cases include storylines that are superb.

And thanks @TheArchitect, it's a great piece of software that even the professional companies use. I could never get into RCT3 with the firework creator as I just felt it wasn't optimised enough to enjoy.

I miss this! During the summer of 2007 (year before I worked at Cedar Point) I was a licensed Pyrotechnician with Pyrotecnico. I mostly did the hand-fire shows and manual computer operated shows (only one with music synchronization). Talk about a rush.

Been on and off at making this for the past 2 months but my New Year Pyromusical is done. I used pop music this time for a challenge as it's quite hard to choreograph to unlike classical pieces. Enjoy.

In case anyone's interested, I created another pyromusical over the New Year, this time with a magical, enchanted storyline. This display would be a large scale, large budget display allowing for lots of large shells and fans.

Come along for the adventure and experience immense sorcery in the sky. :-)

In case anyone's interested, here is my latest pyromusical. For this one I've combined the firework simulator with some scripted NL2 lighting thanks to bestdani to try and add some more realism. :)

Impressed by the arrangement of sparks flying in every direction, and I also feel so much love for a man's deep voice. They both are awesome! Jammy's creations are touching our heart. :D

@lol240: Haha, thanks, glad you like. And the voice was not my own haha. :D

@TTD03: Thanks, glad you like.

Just a quick little side project I whipped up that has a Disney theme and uses some of my most realistic firework shells to date. :)
