Love the classic Cedar Fair sign with the flag over the I.

The whole entrance plaza looks fantastic!

My only complaint with the entrance plaza is that the symmetry just looks wrong. Its got a clear axis, but its not leading to the gate, more to the side. Not a major complaint, and probably wont be noticed by 99% of people, but it bothers me just a tad
What are these for?

^Maybe it has something to do with the intersection of the North and South Carolina borders?

^I think it has to do with that and the fact that it's an asymmetric site to begin with. I'm able to overlook it. I think when it will really look nice is in a few years when everything starts to grow in. It would be nice if there were more foliage along Fury's course, it seems like they didn't end up saving as many trees as with Leviathan. These are very minor things, I am floored at how well everything is turning out.

So I'm officially rethinking my travel plans in the interest of being at the park when it's dark.

Fury 325 was featured on the Today Show earlier today, and the riders in the video seem to be loving it. The beginning is really cheesy though. The video also confirms that a higher-quality mounted POV has been shot.

How does it look cheesy? I'm just curious how you'll describe 'cheesy' on this

This might be the best night coaster ever built. At least the best looking one. Seriously, everything about this coaster looks legit bad***.
Also, in that video the ride looks absolutely ridiculously fun, and now I REALLY want to go down to the Carolinas and ride this thing!

TPR uploaded a video today of Fury and I noticed something a little off. In the video there seems to be one little pump at around 1:25 right after rotation ends. Anyone else notice that?

Early reviews of Fury 325 that I've read range from "most intense B&M ever" to "boring". I think we need some more reviews before forming a consensus on it.

Lol the full spectrum of reviews. Only part that looks "bad" on it is that helix from the very first test run, but really you could do a whole ton worse than that. The rest looks fine and then ending looks like it has decent air.

Might be where they spliced two videos together or something due to drizzle or whatever else starting.

Really reaching there.

Carowinds posted a reverse POV that is amusing:

I love all the people in the comments complaining about the headchopper saying that it is "unsafe" and "no hands up on this ride or you will lose them!" They saw the guy in the front do a little duck when the headchopper came in and they are using that as "proof" that you can get decapitated.

Because B&M would totally design something to be unsafe and Carowinds wants you to get decapitated right?

Embedded the video for you Aj.

^Thanks ;)

I just plugged the two into youtube doubler, and check out how crazy the difference in pacing is at the end. The forward POV finishes several seconds behind, I think because it was an empty train.

Wow. This thing is seriously fast. Much faster than it seemed in testing, but the helix still seems to be the weak link.

Here is that head chopper. The perspective makes it seem close, which it is... But not that close. Also remember you're coming into it on a turn; so it looks like you're gonna smash into it.

That "close call" support might get shaven off a bit in the near future, like the beam on a non-inverted banked turn for MF. Sounds really dangerous, actually.
