Phoenix Update: It sucks to say but I am going to have to push back the release date of the ride.
Questions you might have:
Q: Why?
A: While refining the trackwork, I noticed just how crappy and forced the last 3/4 of the ride was. I wanted an In-line twist so bad, but, I couldn't get it just right. The last 3/4 wasn't that good and pretty boring. I destroyed the last fourth and I'm redoing it. The picture I posted of the track work was the end of the first 3/4, after the picture the track flowed right into the Vertical loop, followed by a zero g roll, then into some winding track, into a helix, then the barrel roll. down a helix and into the brakes. Too forced.
Q: When is it going to be released?
A: When I get done.
I'm aiming for early march. I still have a crap ton to do. I'm definitely not giving up. But seeing this as my first major ride, I'm looking at every aspect of this and accounting to all detail.
Q: Can we see a little bit of what you're working on besides the track?
A: Yes.
Since I had to delay this project, I'm going to include this little treat. This is the rides, one of many keyhole, flythrough, headchopper what the f*** ever you want to call them, elements. This one features
3 count them
3 headchoppers. This is the town's Inn. Phoenix has such a cool backstory that I can't wait to share. There's a reason for the lion cage, but it's not just any lion cage. It's much, MUCH, bigger. All the scenery is being done with Supports, and I think I'm getting better and better at it from watching Turbo's tutorials so thanks turbo!
I also want to thank Blase Rhine, Cool5, and Mkingy for giving me some insight over the track. ALSO: Talon has designed the car texture and it is awesome!
Diamondback is Diamonbae.
