Not sure if it's a best picture, but boy, I love B&Ms Gigas lift spine. It's such an elegant method of supporting:

I definitely think the last two are my favorite!

^You're really in a fight with reality here! These screenshots look really life-like (especially the second one) and pretty!

Thanks, I'm flattered! :D A good skybox and good foliage goes a long way I guess. (Speaking of those, I have to give credit where it is due: Skybox assembled from textures compiled by David Ainsworth for his NL1 skybox and the foliage is NSeven's NL2 Foliage Set.)

My personal favorite is the fourth, but I'd agree that the second image is the most realistic.

EDIT: I'm stilll amazed the NoLimits team came up with a graphics engine this good though, especially for a realtime simulator. Just 12 years ago the Top Thrill Dragster was revealed along with a prerendered animated video and it does not look that good.

It always seems that people are more inclined to vote for the images that come first in the gallery

The two shots I really wanted to get in didn't make it, but at least I got one in! Counts for something :)

^ It seemed to start off that way but I think that people open up the full gallery now. It seems relatively fair these days.

I like the shots in the gallery - all of them! I'm also happy with the shot of my bunch that got chosen.

Gosh, all coaster animations were horrible back then  . Keith McVeen really revolutionized the process and single-handedly took over the industry and now animations are amazingly realistic. However, people are learning to use NL2 so well that some rides even rival those animations now

From all posted coaster images, I learned how important the landscaping was! I'm thinking of trying to get the hang of terraforming. I may be able to make my out-and-back coaster look solid! :)

I figuratively wish for Tennessee Tornado with this special element and a Wingrider train! :)
