Yeah I guess making the exterior of the loose article compartments out of bamboo makes the station look a bit "monotonous" around there. I'll try changing it to wood.

Actually if its done right it makes a lot of sense. Instead of just vertical bamboo textures include some horizontal textures and even a few "top" textures(especially the horizontals of the cubbies)

You could also make them an off-white for plastic or something like that if it's easier.
Yeah you just need to sort out the textures so it looks how it would be built also remember you can use a wood texture but apply a colour 'paint' to it using NL material editor!
Thanks for the feedback I still decided to go for wood for the textures because I felt that it looked better.
Anyway, Nayong Amihan is finally starting to look like a park area now. I added switchbacks, some kiosks that would host some small games or serve food, a restroom, some trees (Credit for the cypress and palm trees goes to nSeven), as well as a new attraction: "Palosebo", a 99m (325 ft) tall observation tower which would be the tallest ride in any amusement park in the Philippines. Palosebo is named after a game played during town fiestas in the Philippines, where one has to climb up a greased bamboo pole in order to win. (I'm currently using the default observation tower found in NL2, but I might replace it with MGrides' Observation Tower XL.)

It probably wouldn't fit in here because both are designed to be large-scale thrill rides, and Amihan would provide a similar experience to what Lawin does, only shorter.

I added some lights to the park area, some signs for Lawin and Palosebo, a strobe light that activates when a train passes by (to simulate a ride camera!), an Enchanted Kingdom Cartexture(!), and a couple more things to give the park area a little more pizzazz. Now the ride's actually beginning to look half decent!

Hahaha, yeah until this project I never really felt the need to add lights to my rides. This is a special case though since I'm incredibly motivated to finish this one!

I added more lights and stuff to make the park area look much better. Now I think I can safely say that Nayong Amihan is essentially complete. (The only thing left to do is to add a souvenir shop for Lawin.) Now I'm focusing on recreating Portabello, starting with Disc-O-Magic (the Zamperla Disk'O). No scripting though unfortunately, because I don't know enough about that to be able to make a fully animated Disk'O. So for now, just the track (kind of). Oh, and remember what I said about adding banners? What do you guys think? Maybe I can pitch this to the park?

Yeah I just checked and Turbo's model looks great! I'm not sure if he'll agree to making a new copy just for this park though, because I don't think you can copy and paste supports between different park files.
