Since AMD's CEO accidentally revealed that Windows 10 will be released in July, I was wondering if there were plans to make NL2 use DirectX 12.

No Windows 9? Or is 8.1 really 9?

Windows 10 will be free for Windows 8 users right? It does look sick even though I hate Microsoft with a burning passion.

Today's Microsoft is not cool. Sad to feel that they were shining in the days of "Windows XP"! That operating system did push us ahead in the direction of Digital Technologies! :(

Windows 10 rules. Trust me. It should be the next 98, xp, or 7. They took all the good from 7 and 8 and left the bad alone.

Agreed. Windows 8 was a hot mess, an OS that was built for tablets forced onto desktops. I think Windows 7 was the best yet, and that's why I chose not to upgrade. Windows 10 looks fantastic so far, and I think I will upgrade (yay freeware!). I think the Hololens is one of the coolest concepts by Microsoft. Imagine seeing a mini NL2 coaster on your coffee table! How cool would that be?!

Plus the amazing new park scenery items such as bins, benches and lamps, plus a new Modern Double & Single spine on the Rocket Coaster Style, and Intamin Giga style prefabs. So much love for this update. :D :D :D

:D Love the update. How does the freefall/Catapult work? Is it a way you can make one slowly rise to the top and fall instead of just launching up?

My favorite things about the new update are the drop towers, Delirium, and the Intamin double spine.

I'm so happy they added a double spine. I've been waiting for this ever since I305 was announced. I mean, it's easy to make a double spine for an NL1 coaster, but in NL2 it gets a bit tricky, and from what I've seen the default double spine is far better than what I or anyone else have accomplished. I don't have NL2 right now, and I probably won't for a while (I need a new computer, one fast enough to handle NL2 at medium-high settings) , but the first thing I'll do when I get it again is build an Intamin giga.

Just for you information - Magu is working with the NL team so its likely he was heavily involved in creating these higher detail/spec models etc.

We have already a Gyro Drop Tower included, so the freefall-catapult is something different. It??s not ment to raise at a slow speed to the top. It??s more like a rocket into the sky, like a space shot ;) Also, if you need a triple tower of these, the tower start at a random time.

Is the Ferris wheel recolorable? If I edit the rotation speed of the wheel will it mess anything up?

Open NL2 while connected to the internet and it should ask you first thing whether or not you want to update.
