We might go to SFGAdv this year (typical, but would be epic) or Hershey. I'd rather go to Hershey because it's been 4 years since I last went and I still haven't got my fix of Skyrush!

By the way, let me fix that Obama meme for you  :

You actually test out an opinion regarding speed of a coaster made by the GP to see if its true

... and all in favor of recalculating Phantom's Revenge's speed with its new trains, say "I"!

^That's insane. The new trains finished the course at least 5 full seconds before the old ones!

I remember riding it last year, the airtime is definitely more intense in that last section, and it flies down around the base of the 2nd drop now, it's actually insane!

Phantom looked awesome before, but now it looks legendary.

-You buy styrene plastic and train trucks for the sole purpose of trying to make your own flat track model
-Related to the above: The first thing you think of when you think of or see styrene sheets: "model coaster track"
-During the off-season you jump on your bed for the sole purpose of experiencing airtime
-You find yourself running out of ideas for "you know you're a coaster geek if..."

Yep, definitely guilty.

...when you hurt your back, your first concern is "when can I ride coasters again?"

Another one I'm guilty of: you weren't interested in the Final Destination series until the 3rd one came out, and you mainly wanted to see that one because of the roller coaster scene, and since you sat through it, you were curious about what the others were like only to find that they're all strictly formula for the most part.

And one that I'm not guilty of that I just thought of: you make a ROM hack of Legend of Zelda the Wind Waker that replaces Cyclos with a model of the thrill ride of the same name from Kentucky Kingdom.

You buy this just because of the roller coaster track on the cover art. Not only that but you also spend time imagining what the overall layout must look like, so you make a concept layout in NL2 as well as make the "Now that's what I call music 54" text out of custom scenery.

^^My brother and I were talking about that commercial yesterday! He was annoyed that it was so unrealistic, I was thinking about how insane that layout must be!

My Facebook has every five post something that doesn't have to do with theme parks.

....if people stare at you while talking about "What can go wrong" as a joke.
....if you get even more awkward stares for using technical terms when talking about how Roller Coasters work.

I try to dumb myself down when talking to my friends while at amusement parks, but luckily I have a few fellow enthusiasts along side the complete GPs

Yep, I always tone myself down to GP terms when I'm talking about coasters/parks with non-enthusiasts, though obviously not to the level of "100 people flew off this coaster".

You know you're a coaster geek if you've ridden a coaster so many times that the ride ops think you're crazy.
