Let's not be so quick to dismiss B&M after 2000, this isn't TPR. I'm fairly certain Nitro, Goliath, Black Mamba, Shambhala, Banshee, Fury and several others are better coasters than Rougarou could hope to be, but it will no doubt be a marked improvement. Sign looks top notch also!

^ I think most people still regard kumba as the best b&m to date (its also my personal fav from b&m). If A trimless ragourou is anything close to that, I'd be content.

I look forward to comparing it to the other B&Ms I've ridden. It really does look promising.

They apparently started letting employees ride it yesterday. Unfortunately my past colleagues were too intoxicated to tell me how it was last night. I hope they keep it in haul ass mode because like I said before the differences in how spread out Chang is vs. this one despite them pretty much being a clone is night and day. The B:TR clones didn't suddenly take up 1/4 more space between "versions".

Quick update. Confirmed now that we know some of the special effects for the ride.
All we have seen is a fog machine at the end of the drop and some funky lights shining up onto the drop. There could be more, but that's all we have seen so far.

Edit: Here is a video thanks to Pointbuzz of the fog machine and lights.

And bad news, while not confirmed, you can see from the above video that the trim brakes are back on :(

Leave it to enthusiasts to get butthurt over a small trim.

Edit: POV is out.

Early reviews are saying it's an intense ride. Hopefully it gets ore of the love I thought it deserved when it was a standup now that it isn't rattling everyone to death.

Is the inclined loop actually an inversion?

I personally don't consider it one, I believe there is a certain amount of banking required for it to be a considered an inversion we agree on (I don't remember it, but I think it was 160-170 at least?)
It's been a long time

^ I wonder if Cutback has more than 160 degrees, because it's widely considered an upside down. ;)

In NL contests at CC we've always used 155 degrees from the ground which has been generally accepted throughout the years. But then that's for design purposes, real life is a bit more... blurry as to what is and isn't.

I don't care if it is or not, I just care about how insanely fast its going through that. Seriously, that's my favorite part of the ride from looking at it.

Thank you to Cedar Point for a great soft opening of the park! I only heard good things from surrounding guests. Some rides weren't ready but they opened up almost all of the park! Ended up being a great night. What CP isn't telling people is there are more upgrades/renovations than anyone originally thought! All over the park! My phone died, so I didn't get pictures of everything :/ but I'll be back next week! This truly is the year of change for the park and it looks amazing! Rougarou pics coming next...

So... Some that are friends with me on Facebook may know I went through some health issues and I can't ride anything for couple more weeks. So I didn't ride Rougarou but it looks fantastic! The sound ambiance is a very nice touch, then you'll hear howls and growls! Very loud and a nice touch for everyone watching! The mist added to the area is perfect. Adds that extra element and to the experience. Overall, even without riding, I'd call Rougarou a win!

Unfortunately this is where my phone died.... :( so no shots with the lights but overall looks amazing! Kudos to Cedar Point's P&D, Marketing, the #RougaCrew, and everyone that helped make last night possible! I'll try and get pics of the other updates, upgrades and renovations next week!

How are the lateral forces, since the heartline is a little off from what a floorless would typically have?
