Hey everyone. This is a post for my friend Joe Fas, he's a member of CoasterCrazy known as SauronHimself. This is his third year cycling in the Tour de Cure diabetes ride. It's held by The American Diabetes Association and is intended to raise research money for curing this disease. He'll be cycling the metric century (100 km), and he's am collecting donations until the 7th of June which is the day of the event. If you are able to contribute, please do so via his page here: http://main.diabetes.org/site/TR/Tourde ... r_id=10193
The bottom line is that you have to know better about "food nutritions" if you bike more than 62 miles. There is a pretty much difference between 62 and 100 or century what we cyclists call.
Hey guys. I appreciate any monetary support you can throw my way. So far I've raised $2517. If I could get that to $3000 before the event (07 June), that would be stellar.
Update: I've surged up to $4610 as of today, and I'm setting my sights on a $5000 goal. I have a week to close the gap, and I would really appreciate all the help I can get. Your donations don't have to be big either. As long as they're the minimum $10 the ADA requires, that's fine with me.
