@Paradox: Need a tissue? :lol:

@lol240: Thanks, and I knew I'd heard of a Pete to do with western before, that's where it's from. :P

So, I've had a few free days between exams for the past few days and decided to have a work on another area of the park, and am glad to be bringing back Hellion, an 11 inversion Intamin Blitz coaster I created a while ago but scrapped due to excessive lag. Well now that I've become better at optimisation, I've decided to include it in this park.

The theme will remain the same and I'm hoping to continue the creepy Pop Goes The Weasel rhyme through into this version too.

In the dark and gloomy woods, a portal has been summoned. The underworld will soon be unleashed, as will the demons!

Below are just a few photos of the area so far. Thanks again everyone. :-)

Great interaction between the two trains! Is is a multi-launch like Maverick or only a LSM lift?
It's been a long time

Lots of Dive and Immelmann loops! I guess they are your favorite elements! :)

@Coaster Hero: Thanks, glad you like it! It's a dual LSM-lift coaster with the tracks intertwined through out the course. The demons tend to attack other beings in pairs! ;)

@lol240: Not necessarily my favourite, just the easiest to intertwine I find! :P

@mkingy: Thanks, the underworld is breaking through into reality! ;-P

@Coasterkidmwm: Maybe *shifty eyes*

@TTD03: Great, hopefully you'll like this a lot then! :P

*Out Of Context*

As I did with my old RCT3 park many years ago on Shyguysworld, I will be implementing a story into this park. I've been wanting to do a story since I started but was waiting until I'd got enough to start it off with. Anyway, below is the start of the story, I hope you enjoy. :-)

_________________________________________________________

Hello there.
I am Harry Turfeld and live in the large rural town of Scanford. I am a amateur photographer who is studying Marketing and Design at my local university. One of my main hobbies is to visit local and far-a-field attractions such as theme parks and zoos. Today it was announced that nearby to Scanford, a new development surrounding Lodgepine Lake was in the making, and to my excitement, it turns out that is going to be a theme park resort courtesy of Worley Enterprises. I found this community and thought that I should share the news with others. The area is quite hilly and covered in woodland so I'm sure it is going to make for a beautiful park. An investor called Norman Worley has bought the land from the council and has proclaimed that he hopes the development will become one of the top visitor attractions in the UK, if not the world. I can't wait to see what amazing things this park is going to offer.

Anyway, enough introduction, I managed to photocopy the article in the local newspaper about the consented planning permission and also got a concept image off of the website. I feel exciting times ahead! :-D

So there you have it. I really can't wait for the future press releases from the park and I'll try and get a hold of any development pics when I can get down there. If I can see anything that is. This park has a lot of potential I feel. We will have to see what happens.

See You Soon
Harry Turfeld

I hope you enjoy this concept and thanks for all the comments. Until next time! :)

Hi. I'm a pompous asshole who uses TPR and is jaded beyond belief. I hope they don't build a forceless baby B&M coaster and only get intamins.

Cute map, and I love your idea of using a mine train as a piece of theming meant to look crashed.

This! Looking great Jammy, I meant to put a reply in the other day but I like how you are doing this devlog!

@Coasterkidmwm: Haha, thanks! I thought it fitted quite well. Also why model a new mine train when there's a perfectly good one ingame. :P

@mkingy: Thanks! I'm in the middle of the next entry for the devlog but it sure is taking a while.

@TTD03: Mmmmmhmmmm. ;)

- Out of story update -

Hey everyone! It's definitely been a while but with some time working on and off with this, I'm glad to say Red Rock Valley, the western area, of Lodgepine Lake Resort is complete. Although saying that, there may be a very special addition coming shortly, maybe. This is a MASSIVE milestone for the project, and for myself and has given me hope that this will one day be finished. Also, I've started work on the next area of the park, KiddieLand, obviously the kids/family orientated area of the park.

Here are some pictures of the completed Red Rock Valley area and a few of the first attraction in KiddieLand. Also, there is a link to a video that shows off some of the area and is a video test for an idea I had.

Furthermore, I forgot to add, as a thank you to all the fantastic custom content creators, I'm hopefully going to feature a plaque on the boardwalk on the lake with everyone's name on as a commemoration for this awesome community.

Once again, thanks for the feedback and comments, it's much appreciated guys! Until next time.

I can see a lot of UK park inspiration here - not sure I've ever seen someone do something like octonauts coaster :lol:

looks great though - good to see the park coming together - how is the FPS holding up?

It's funny how both coasters in RRV use the same trains and track style (although MM has special add-ons).

@mkingy: Yup, there's inspiration from loads of parks in there. And lol, the Octonauts whoring was the best part of the meet, I had to pay homage to it. ;)

And yup, one area down, only about seven more to go. Surprisingly good FPS, I've become a lot more experienced at optimisation since The Smiler.

@Paradox: Haha, I know right. I'm desperately waiting for a Mack Powered Coaster train to arrive. :P
