It's dueling!



As you can see, it's a little off sync, but it is the first duel so it shouldn't be expected to be perfect. Again, this thing is packing some serious airtime, and coupled with the ride's interaction it is looking to be even better than expected. It certainly has beaten my expectations so far! Let the countdown to a POV begin.

Definitely going to be tough to chose between Fury and this as my favorite ride of 2015!

^ TC was always one my most anticipated, even back when certain posters were talking smack about it. lol

Thank you for respecting my opinion. I guess you are right with the bias aspect as I really thought that RMC would make my pipe dream coaster with this. I'm not saying TC is gimmicky, but I was mainly bashing at Full Throttle. If SFMM had more money, then I think they could have built more and possibly made a layout that resembles the original much better than this does.

I will be riding it in August and I am extremely excited. After watching all of the testing my opinion has changed a lot and the reason I am hesitating to accept the fact that this might be better than WC is that I am extremely biased to SFNE because it is my homepark and I want them to be the best even though I know they are far from it.

^ Except I still think SFNE is about to unleash the best coaster of 2015. I was not one bit deterred by that meh POV. WC is going to blow people's minds.

But I think TC will be an awesome ride that I can't wait to marathon on. I agree that with a higher budget TC could have been even more awesome, but it's still a compact , beauty of a ride that I think people on the west coast are going to love.

I know it's fun for enthusiasts to compare rides for bragging rights. But I think people go so overboard with that crap that they lose sight of the fact that every coaster is uniquely special, and the goal is to have fun.

I mean really, who cares which one is better. it only really matters to the .009 percent of people who get to ride both.

I'm just hoping they hit interval so it will duel... If they miss it, it'll be a let down.

Even if they miss it'll still be awesome.

Special TC filming day coming up on Wednesday. I can't believe I'll be riding it this soon.

I'll post some quick thoughts on the ride after there is a break in filming.

^ Yes. Woke up to the email this morning. It's surreal after watching this coaster from the closure, to the fire all the way to now, I'm just a few days from experiencing it.

I'm also going to the gold pass ERT on the 21st and the 22nd, so hopefully I'll get my fill of TC before the 3 hours waits!

On a side note, there are seriously people who think this ride has no airtime on youtube, and that SFMM "needs a giga coaster really quick with an inversion so they can take the record for fastest inversion, because you can't have enough coasters" Take off your enthusiast hats people, and put on your park manager hats to see why that's obviously ridiculous!

All I did was email back availability and a recent picture. I did it on a lark, not thinking I would get an invite, but I did!

As for people on youtube, those comment sections are filled with fanboys and trolls, and I question the age and maturity level of a lot of them. Neither in any way represent what the average person thinks. lol

Well, looks like I'll be waiting a little longer. Commercial shoot has been postponed due to weather. I'm guessin we're looking at Friday or Monday instead.
