This isn't really a formal complaint about an individual giving out a bad rating, but it has to do with bad ratings.
I've noticed over the last little while that some people who have been riding tracks made by people who are new here, or who are new to No Limits (not sure about other sims, as I don't use them) that if it isn't a track up to their standards or par they just give them a rating of .5.
The reason I see this as a problem is that they barely ever explain why they gave such a low score and ussually just write "What a piece of crap, this track sucks sucks sucks!"
I feel sorry for the new people that upload their tracks because instead of getting some advice, tips or even a reason why their track isn't very good they just get put down.
Now for the main point of this thread. I think if you are going to rate someones track and you are going to give them a low score like .5 you should at least explain the reasoning behind your rating. Just like how you should explain why a good track is worth a 10 or 9.
Well anyways, that my 10 cents.

But this is not for all, the problem are the NOOB'S RATERS, who if a coaster have any 3DS add a rate of 10 points, and if they see is not too good a score of 0.5 and said crap. I think staff must re-think about changuing min characters for a rate, whit that, they could "force" to make more explained rates.

Um, no, that would stink. What if you have something brief to say, like if you can't even open the file because they didn't include the scenery? I think that's a bad idea anyways.

We are well aware of this problem and working on solutions for it. A new rating guide is being written and links to the new rating guide will be displayed on the next to the place rating button on every page. However, the rating guide needs to be finished and that might take a while.

Any other systems of forcing people to write something good, like award systems on good ratings costs money, money which is not available. So the rating guide is all we can do and it should be here soon.
