In this thread, tell us what coasters you didn't or couldn't ride when you were at a park and why you didn't ride them.

Islands of Adventure
Incredible Hulk Coaster - Too scared to ride (wasn't a full-blown enthusiast at the time).

Universal Studios Florida
Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit - My friends didn't want to wait in line.
Revenge of the Mummy - Back then, I was a wimp about frightening theming.

Disneyland
Matterhorn Bobsleds - My friends didn't want to ride it.
Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Closed for refurbishment.

Six Flags Great America
American Eagle (Blue) - Wasn't impressed with the Red side so I didn't bother with the Blue side.
Whizzer - Line was too long.

Most rides at DisneyWorld: Was sick for a few days, most likely why.
SFMM: Viper, down for 2 weeks seasonal maintenance
BGW: Too small for a few
Carowinds: Thunder Road, because I am going in August after it closes :(

That's all I can think of now, but I'm sure there are more.

Every roller coaster at Geauga Lake-too scared, was not a ride warrior yet
Son of Beast with loop (KI)-too scared, was not a ride warrior yet
Taxi Jam/Little Bill/Great Pumpkin Coaster (KI)-too big to ride without a kid with me, lack of interest
Vampire (KK)-too scared, was not a ride warrior yet
Starchaser (KK)-probably not tall enough

I still regret this decision.

Good thing I was too scared to ride Goudurix when I was at PA, that wouldn't have been a pleasant experience.

SFOG
Ninja- It hurts just looking at hit
Schorcher- No standups for me
SFGAdv
Green Lanter- Standup and it ran 1 train. Didn't miss much
Kingda Ka- Down for Zumanjaro. I'll never forgive SF
SWSD
Atlantis- To short when I went
Manta- Mack hadn't even built launch coasters yet.
Hershey
Fahrenheit- 3 hour line during the day and then I got rained out.
Sky Rush- I went the week it was announced.
Geauga Lake
Everything- Only went as a little kid, didn't ride anything besides maybe the kiddie coaster.
All hail your great Arrow Dynamics overlords.

You need new friends bwoy.

Goliath at SFGAm is one that hits close to the heart. It had the delayed open obviously, so I missed it.
Wicked Twister was closed when I went two weeks ago. Not that upset about it.
Mr. Freeze Reverse Blast SFOT and Superman Krypton Bitch at SFFT. Seasonal closings. Oh well =/

That's it thankfully, as far as major roller coasters go =D
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325

^Bro. You need to get back there. SW Pennsylvania isn't terribly far from one of the worlds biggest and best parks haha. You need to ride Maverick, TTD, and Gatekeeper!

Also what Gerst said about SFOT and SFFT applies to me. But I know I'm not too far from returning to SFFT to reride my love Iron Rattler and try out Superman..

^ I'd be out there in a heartbeat if I could, but money + getting parents on board is the problem. Might have convinced a few friends to make the trip this summer though :D

Does anyone know if GAdv has improved operations since Zumanjaro opened? Last I heard the state of NJ would not allow the two to run simultaneously.

As far as missing out on coasters, I've been rather fortunate to not have missed much. Although I did totally space out on SeaWorld when I was in Orlando forever ago, but at the time they only had Kraken. I'll make up for it when their hyper is complete.

Oh I have a couple.

Zyklon Loop, Blizzard, Wacky Worm, and Dragon Express @ Star City (2005) - Star City is the second park close to me that has "large" roller coasters. I was a kid and I was still not into roller coasters when we went there in 2005. For whatever reason, I still haven't been there since, even if there have been a lot of new additions and changes to the park over the past 10 years.

Space Mountain @ Hong Kong Disneyland (2008) - Though I was already into roller coasters at the time, I was afraid of the advertised temporary Halloween retheme to Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. I was really afraid of Halloween stuff back then.

Rolling X-Train and Eagle Fortress @ Everland (2012) - Rolling X-Train because we had limited time and decided to ride T Express instead. Eagle Fortress because it was SBNO. (And now it's being dismantled; RIP Eagle Fortress. I'm really hoping you'll be getting a comparably awesome successor.)

Comet Express @ Lotte World (2014) - My schoolmates (and other Korean friends we made) who were with me decided to not ride it given our limited time in the park.

Hollywood Dream The Ride, Flight of the Hippogriff, and Snoopy's Great Race @ Universal Studios Japan (2015) - We wasted so much of our time at the Harry Potter section of the park (and we weren't even able to ride Forbidden Journey!!!! ) that by the time we finally went to the entrance of Hollywood Dream the queue was already too long and we had too little time left. I crey evrytim. We didn't ride Hippogriff or Snoopy because my family wasn't too interested.

Flounder's Flying Fish Coaster @ Tokyo DisneySea (2015) - Queues were really long virtually everywhere and we decided to ride on the more famous and must-see attractions instead.

I remembered that I went to Silver Dollar City a long time ago, but Fire in the Hole and Thunderation were the only coasters I rode because it was long before I became an enthusiast.

I was literally ready to kill someone that day. I spent an entire year with the convincing and we weren't the only ones disappointed to find the ride broken.

The funny thing is, the ride was running fine the day before. Just my luck I guess.

Yeah, bit like me and trying to get on Smiler during opening year - seemed to only be broken when I turned up!

2 spring to my mind immediately:

Thunderlooper - Alton Towers - Was too small by a matter of millimeters in the season it left. Hope to get out and ride a shuttle loop soon (Walibi Belgium probably my best bet - although Knotts is on my bucket list so)

X @ SFMM - on my only visit to USA we went to SFMM but this was broken down all day so we went round riding everything else (no regrets though!)

I just remembered that I went to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay a long time ago, and I only ride one side of Gwazi and Sand Serpent (then called Cheetah Chase). I was still too scared to ride anything else.

The only rides you actually missed out on would be Great Bear and Sooperdooperlooper. Intamin was not there yet.

I skipped all of the kiddie coasters at Cedar Point and Kings Island because I'd rather not waste my time riding those when I could be riding all of the amazing ones.
