Hi everyone ! Here are two models that I created !
The first is a Vekoma rail model and the second is a B&M rail model.
I'm starting a new project: an Immelmann with B&M rail with the colors of Banshee coaster ;-)
(the last pics were rendered by Blender)

Impressive! What are you modelling them out of and what sort of method are you using?

Will you alter the support to be more representative of B&M support style or are you keeping it fairly simplistic for the moment?

Those are very neat. What did you make them out of, and did you kind of eyeball them or did you get measurements?

Thanks ! :-)
To do these models I used cardboard, paper, plaster, clay, glue, paint, and polish ! (and LEDs, cable, and battery for the lighting)
But for the current project I will use resin, wood, and maybe aluminium, because i had problems with the curve of the rail , so I don't want to have same problems with a more difficult figure, like an Immelmann :-)
Generally I make plans with NL2 with the help of true pics, but sometimes I do it by feeling :-p
For the moment I wonder if this new model will be better with or without the support (if it's not too fragile).
What do you think about it? Would it be more artistic without support?

Wow, really nice. I LOVE them. Finally someone put the most valueable art created by humans into the right size to fit right next to the Mona Lisa :D

These models are really quite impressive, especially given the materials used. I want an Immelmann!!

Thank you for your opinions ! ;-)
I just used wood in the supports , to solidify it, but that's all, because I didn't want to sculpt it (and it would be not round at all :-p)
I'll post some pics in the next few weeks !
Now I just did the stand... (yes that's look ugly for the moment!)

Yeah, if you can make a good B&M track out of metal, I would pay good money for one. But you'll have to ship it to the UK!

Thanks you all to interest you in what I do ! But unfortunately I think I will not put these models for sale for the moment , because I can't afford to sell it expensive just because of the time spent on it and because of the exportation. :-/
But I will consider the possibility to create models specially for sale, more convenient and less fragile to export it. But I can't make that out of metal, I don't have tools... :-)

I'm starting the top of the Immelmann, and I have no Idea how I'll do that :-p
It's difficult to do plans of the main spline, because it's made of triangular portions...

You say you can't sell them, but keep on creating your best elements! :)

Sitroms, are you planning to create a Zero-G-Roll element, too? I've just thought like that because Immelmann or Dive Loop has got an elongated long twist. :)

Ahah that's exactly the idea I had for my next model :-p
But I hesitate to do an other type of model too, like a little launch system (I think a LIM).
