They do have winter jackets on, so it's definitely cold runs.

Lol is it ever warm in Finland?

Isn't it insane how this thing was constructed in only 2 months? That's even quicker than I thought.

Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if they did like all of the prep work prior and nobody noticed.

Bumping this thread because something weird is happening with this coaster, because new pieces of track have recently showed up onsite:

...and according to this image found in a local newspaper, new footers have showed up very close to the ride:

So here's what is supposedly going to happen, Powerland is rumoured to be extended Junker so it can beat Taiga's stats. Pretty bizarre, but lets see how this pans out.

Lenghten it by 300m, add more than 12m height, speed it up by 2 km/h and boom, records are back

The shed over the launch track looks adorable :D

So an update in that story, it's looks like a new lift structure and brake run is being installed:

...and according to rcdb, it seems to list this as a brand new coaster entirely, so we will see what happens with this one: https://rcdb.com/17866.htm

A new coaster with exact the same trackstyle and colors?
Interesting, I still think it will be an extension to Junker but time will tell

By the look of this new lift hill structure, and the location of the where the brake seems to be placed, this is starting to look even more like a whole new coaster entirely:

More of the layout is starting to go into place:

...and according to someone on CF chat who knew someone who got info at IAAPA, this new coaster will not feature any inversions and be more focused on airtime.

So just to clarify this is going to sit alongside Junker and not an extension or something weird (or do we still not actually know yet?)

Maybe it'll have a switch track at the start like a choose your own adventure sort of thing?

Via an App in the queue? Or based on a democratic system of voting by screams on the point of the switch track?

Okay wait. We're not sure if it's a new roller coaster or extra Junker?

How can they be this active without any kind of announcement.... I'm so jealous that this is so unimportant to the park that they don't even do press on it. Meanwhile, Valleyfair can repaint one section of parking lines and everyone in Minnesota is on edge.
