Back in November when Knott's Berry Farm announced Voyage to the Iron Reef, a lot of people thought that Xcelerator was going to be removed for it simply because of its placement in the ride's logo.

^ GPs must have also thought like "Broken fences! Vandalism! Octopus you're going nuts, not a pleasant park called "Knott's!"

Eh, that's not the worst GP fail I've ever heard, but still, you'd think they would at least learn the facts before stating "Fury 325 is the world's tallest coaster."

Literally, don't even add on any other rollercoaster parks bc the other ones are probably cheap and there were a few deaths at Disney but it's the passengers fault because they didn't stay in their seat. Trust only the ones listed pls XD

Here's one I heard the other day while talking to someone about Great America's new rides:

"I heard they already got rid of X-Flight because it had too many problems"

I've seen plenty of dumb GP coaster lists, but this one just might take the cake.

Oh yeah I've seen that list on The Site That Shall Not Be Named. The best part about the list, though, is that it doesn't even feature 50 US states.

^^ Checked all most states in that list! Laughed at these failed entries - Georgia: The Joker Chaos, Ohio: Rougarou. (WHY! Millennium Force is obviously ahead of you! TTD's like out of sight?! Unbelievable!)

In my opinion, the absolute worst fail on that list is New Jersey's top ride was El Diablo.

Last time I was at Valleyfair, I heard someone say that Renegade, the park's GCI woodie, goes 90 mph. Yeah... no.

That's slightly worse than when someone told me Thunder Run at KK goes 70 mph.
Oh yeah, I just remembered I was at Kroger and there was one of those Kentucky Kingdom advertisements that said 8 new rides. While that by itself is a GP-ism IMO, that isn't what I'm getting at. The description for Cyclos stated that it's a 13 story pendulum ride. WAT? How can it go that high when it doesn't even go as high up as Lightning Run's 10-story first hill?

I actually found a very nice list of coasters. There are some there that shouldn't be on the list.
