I know the due date is a long way out, but I'm going to have to drop out of the competition. Sometimes my summers can be as busy as my school year, and this is one of those times... I don't normally do this but this competition simply came at a bad time. Good luck to the rest of the contestants! :)

Not a problem at all! Your name has been removed from the list.

Have a great summer!

That looks rather close to the no inversion rule on your inverted top hat...?

Looks fun though!

At the top it's 152 degrees! :)

Fair enough - I'd maybe class that an inversion outside of the contest but rules are rules haha :D

I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop out too :/. I'm in the middle of exam period so time isn't exactly on my side and I doubt I'll be anywhere near finished by the deadline. Good luck to those still participating!

I don??t WANT to drop out! But well .. you??ve made a really nasty template... duh! 1800 feet is a long track for such a small place :-o ... i??m still working on the track and i think i??ll skip the scenery. But i??ll show you this evening which layouts didn??t made it into my personal "trial and error" list.

Darn,.. it??s not that easy as i thought. Congrats to the minds which made it!

So .. maybe the layouts may inspire someone...

At first i tried to do something with a launch. But it was a crappy idea.

Secondly i tried to tight-fit the 1.800 ft. Well,.. it was a bit tooo much.
Image

As third version .. i tried to make a very generic one. But i skipped that, imediatly, as i saw that girl in tight fitting jeans! :D

... but now,.. i??m officially rolling with another layout. It was worth NOT TO GIVE UP! As always =)

I kind of cheated with supports and used wood magic, I can still make it look better, but my design crosses itself too many times for traditional supports and to do it the right way would require more time than we have
What are these for?

Will the boundries be checked with the coaster frozen or unfrozen?

It makes sense, if this was real you can't tell the park: It did fit when it was unfrozen.

What if the coaster trains are fatter than the track/supports and go over the boundary when frozen?

You guys like my drop?

Also supports are hard lol.

Nice drop - yeah supports are a pain - I've done a load but now I'm not happy with them... but I don't have time to restart them either so I'm stuck with disappointing supportwork.

Hmmm... Are catwalks concidered part of the supports or do they go under the scenery part? Would be stupid to get DQ'ed or anything by the esthetics's of the catwalks.
