here are a few things I have been up to. ;)
Image
Its the little things that count, so here is a pretzel stand, pepsi soda cooler, frozen lemonade stand, and my favorite, Valleyfair garbage cans.

Image
here I added the corkscrew connection shop(far left), red and white tables(top), benches and light polls(bot), and The Monster foundation(right).

Image
this area is nearly complete also with added fries shop(Center), Hoops game(Bot), tree box(Left), and the yellow tables and brown and white tables.

Image
Lastly here is a picture from the top of Wild Thing.

Construction is coming along nicely, it may be done sooner then I thought. :D

This is seriously amazing! I must ask, are you going to use NSevens trees or keep the default ones? Just from experience I think Nsevens look much more realistic and can help with the overall "feel" of the park. Also are you planning to use a custom skybox? If you need one I have several laying around.

The attention to detail here is truly impressive, the little things are adding up to the most fully realized park scene to hit NL2. I still can't get over 'unmatched airtime' on a Morgan hyper though, lol.

It's honestly pretty amazing how accurate this looks compared to the actual park. I can't wait to see how the final product will look. :)

You guys are all too kind.
I had a good weekend, had a lot of time to spend. Touched up a few things, got most of the wild thing area done (lower right), and changed the environment. I believe it is Blaze Rhine's environment, mind if I use it? I tweaked the light color a bit.

Please get someone to script that drop tower! I would hate for all of the flats to be static.

This looks awesome.
Takes lots of patience to be committed to one project and looks like you're taking your time but still having fun with it.

Love to see more updates.

Looks really excellent so far. Did you adjust the train colors on Corkscrew? I heard they were repainted.

I am slowly working on it yes, I sort of got distracted. After Castle Park is released I will be getting back into construction.

ARCADE? Yay it's time to get someone to script shooting games! Not cool5's atomic bomb style, though.

How about the "shoot off as many hand guns as you possibly can and see what gets hit" game.

Plantoris man!! Minneapolis guy here with an Oculus Rift DK2. I can't wait to find the link for the park download!! Your VR VALLEY FAIR project is the highest order of awesome sh*t ever produced!! I'm thrilled that I found this thread tonight!
I'm one to do public demos, and if I may inspire you to further greatness, you know NL2 has built in Oculus VR support, right?
I can't wait to experience your build in virtual reality.
:D

I would love for someone to script anything for me, for instance the railroad crossing gates(below) that open/close when a train hits a trigger.
Image
also added the diner behind the arcade. and finished off the entire area .

next I finished the Planet Snoopy grill, made the colorfull benches, added trashcans, and started wook on the snoopys rocket express. I had some trouble with it so I decided to leave it for now and move on.
Image

I decide the next area to do should be the front. So....
Image
I touched up a few of the buildings I had already, and added the main ticket booth, guest services building(red), and t-rex, as well as all the foliage, flags ext. in the middle of the buildings is a Google maps dead zone so I cannot see details making it difficult. if anyone has pictures of it I would be grateful, also pictures of Dinosaurs alive, and rout 76 would be valuable to me.

Anyway, work is going well and I hope to keep it up for a while.
