agreed, and seeing the user activity, only 2 of the people who rallied for it have been in it in the past week.

I know how hard it is to have a good chat on a site. From a technical point of view, yours is really great Weewee. Please keep it up and maybe advertise more about it... On the homepage for example; instead of saying "rate, rate, but beware of how you do it or we will erase you" [lol]

Ok;, I go to the chatroom, see ya!

considering the large amounts of people that are on in the forums at most times its kinda weird that the chat doesnt get used. I think that its because most people dont know about it. Because the chat button is hiding just under the home button that most people dont realise its there. maybe with this post more people may start to go in it.

one method that might work is to occasionally announce discussion "events" in the news. the following are some suggestions:

6pm tuesday, this week only, log on to discuss. "What are the best colors for wooden coaster crossties?"

1am sunday, special guests, all the creators of modified cobra elements will discuss their inspirations and their most traumatic childhood experiences.

3:17:32pm friday, "Why has no one used NoLimits to nest THREE corkscrew elements in the fashion that RCT allows and who should get the blame for this failure?"

as you can see, there are lots of possibilities here.

[lol] we do get a lot of people on at the same time both members and guests, current active users on the site is around 116 people bots, spiders etc excluded from that number. Also you can see who's in chat on the main forum page by scrolling down to see if anyone is in chat. I go there once in a while and chat with some that go in, usually new people but other than nthat the people that requested it are ghosts [lol]

i would really much rather prefer doing long conversations in the WWS chat room, but tough luck for me! the point is, some popular topics should really be in the chat room.[stoning]
