Picked up a new toy/finally have a real lens for the 5D Mark III, a 24-70 2.8L II. Amazing edge to edge sharpness and contrast from this lens, everything just pops. Haven't used it much yet since it's been too cold to want to shoot but today I forced myself to trudge through a foot of snow and shoot this waterfall.

Every photo of snow always makes me want to scoop it - so childhood.

That's amazing, love the long exposure! I'll be getting a T5i myself here shortly, I've been out of the loop with photography for a few months now since my old DSLR broke and I'm aching to get back to shooting

Just had some crazy storms move through! Going through the rest of the pics now to hopefully have caught some of the awesome lightning!

Actually thought this was a tornado when I first saw it... not gonna lie, scared the living hell out of me

That shot of the coaster (Nemesis?) looks awesome! The others look great too! I think two of the images aren't working though, they didn't load on my phone or my computer.

Awesome shots! I tried to get some waterfall shots myself this year, but this mini-drought we've had for the 2nd half of summer kind of... dried most of them up
