Here's an update on Toro. Still shaping before I even consider starting some supports and intensive 3ds work. As for the length of the ride, the real coaster is 4400 feet and mine is 4392 feet so the continued shaping should finish it off. Enjoy the pics but feel free to rip it apart with criticism as I really want it to look nice.

Looking really good! The station in particular is great! Was kinda surprised by the drive tires for the lift, but it uses a cable and there's no accurate way to do that in NL2. I'd also like to see the storage track done, but it's not a big deal. I do have some better colors you can use, taken straight from pictures of the ride...

Rails: Red 30, Green 26, Blue 21. Intamin prefab rails are a deep, dark brown.

Seat: Red 135, Green 26, Blue 43

Harness: Red 240, Green 97, Blue 22

Car for train 1: Red 141, Green 74, Blue 28

Car for train 2: Red 68, Green 47, Blue 29

Bogie and Chassis are black.

And what do you think of this song for the station music? El Toro doesn't have its own station music, but I remember hearing this in the queue and thinking it would be perfect.

I am gonna add the storage track and hide the drive tires. The tires are actually separated to simulate the slow beginning, fast lift then slow down at the top. As for the rails, i'd like to do the intamin prefab ones without the ties if I can learn how. I'll probably make a 3ds cable lift mechanism. That song does sound good for the station actually. I always noticed that this song plays in the que every year but doesn't fit the ride. Like the video is always playing on the TV's. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Pjs-QkjmkM

Oh and does anybody know if there's a way I can script a sound to play on the two airtime hills? I would love to add that noise the train makes as it flies over those drops, when the track sounds like it's being torn apart.

Took a break from the ride

Whoa. Great job on the entrance. Looks like it's really coming together! In the meantime, I've got the station music all set up.

TTD03: I definitely want to have We Like to Party as ambient music somewhere in the park. Where do you think it would work well? Maybe at the fountain?

TallonD83: Batman's trains need textures. The wheel covers in particular are gray in the middle with a Batman logo, and there's also a smaller Batman logo on the seat frame. Like this:

Park updated!

Batman car textures, thanks TallonD83!

The current view from the top of Ka. You can see the station music players for El Toro, Superman and RMT (the little orange boxes), and I've just added the water bodies and done a lot more terrain painting.

Looking great guys!
Yes Dusso, We Like To Party Has to play at the entrance.

And yea, I think we can script the El Toro roaring over the airtime hills.

Really excited to start doing more 3ds work after finishing the track. Just wish I was a bit better at fine tuning the elements. Those batman logos look awesome on the train.

No pictures to show at the moment but I am tweaking the heartline of Superman ever so slightly to get the final roll perfect. Much harder than it seems.

Yes. It should be on the two main airtime hills and the crossover surprise hill.

The entrance, the fountain, or both?

I know this is an accurate recreation, but is it possible to improve upon some things, such as the lack of shade in El Toro's queue? Looking at that last picture, looks great btw, brings back some not so fond memories of nearly 100* heat and an hour wait.
What are these for?

You'd want to talk to Mkj332 about that, he's probably still working on the queue.

Both lol.

I am pretty sure there is not just 1 park file anymore. I think everyone has their own version at this point. So we will just have to all put it back together at the end.

My plan is to collect finished work from contributors, add it to the park file, and keep it updated and available for download. I've always found it easier to work on coasters and scenery in separate, smaller parks and then add it to the main park when it's done. This is why I've provided separate, high-resolution overlays for all the major coasters and will provide them for any other area of the park on request.

However, anyone is welcome to work on the main park directly and send it back to me with your changes in place!

So I learned how to make Code's rmc track and made my own textures pretty quickly. Opinions? As for color that will be changed a bit but mostly want feedback on the top itself.

The metal running rails look a little too wide (there should be a bit more space next to them on the inside) and the criss-cross pattern doesn't look that good. For maximum realism, the dark stripe down the middle where the wheels run should not be there at all on the tops of the three main ejector hills as the wheels don't touch the track there. It's still looking a lot better than the default rails!

Just been messing around with a few more 3d pieces. Gotta re size the refrescos building. Been getting some good advice on the forums about the reshaping of toro's elements so ill begin working on it again soon. I mean if i'm gonna do it, might as well do it right.

If this gets finished, I'm kinda tempted to download it just to delete Green Lantern and replace it with a completely original custom creation, but leave everything else totally intact. Even if that was technically allowed, I'm not even sure my computer will be able to survive loading everything.
Or I could establish just some of the immediate surrounding area from scratch and not use this as a base. Might be the safer option given how my computer performs in scenery heavy parks.

You could just change Green Lantern to a sitdown! I would say to make it a floorless but there already is one in the park.

Actually I was thinking about some kind of an homage to Great American Scream machine and Rolling Thunder (American Thunder?), and that would have been an awesome thing for July 4th if I'd thought about it much sooner, and if I actually had the immediate surrounding area to work with. Also doubles as a subtle way of saying I dislike the relocation even to this day.
Not really much of a priority actually since I have no specific ideas.
